I've watched both of your recent snow driving videos, it looks like a lot of fun and you clearly know how to drive! I wish we had roads like this in the UK... Three questions from me, if that's ok? - what driving mode do you use in conditions like these, is it track (50:50)? - do you have TC on, part off, or fully off (I think fully off is also called Expert)? - what tyres do you have fitted to the car? Hello Daniel, thank you, yes the conditions here in this part of the Czech republic are nice for driving on snow, at least a few times a year haha. Check the third video too ;)) Driving mode is track, I find it better to sport on snow, its perfect balance of skids and speed :-) TC is fully off. The "expert" mode you are talking about is partial off and it won't let you do all you need :-) Tires are Bridgestone Blizzak LM-005
@@GR_Yaris I just watched that 3rd video, excellent work! This car just looks so damn capable in these conditions, it must be the perfect car for you! I figured you were probably in Track Mode, I guess Sport mode will be better suited for hot and dry days. Thanks also for clearing up the TC confusion, so 'Expert' is a press of the TC button, and fully off (like you had it) is when you press and hold down the TC button. Well the yaris is definitely not as great daily universal car as the Golf R Variant is. But that's pretty much everything positive about the R :-) GR Yaris does everything as you expect, the differences are noticeable almost instantly. It's pretty firm, but not harsh. The power is pretty much the same, but at the rear there is one instantly if you need it. It brakes quite well. It does skids much better, you have handbrake etc. etc. Actually, there isn't much to compare. Too different cars. As a daily, if you have kids and a brain, take the Golf. As a daily, if you have kids but you are still a petrolhead asshole who wants unpractical yet true drivers daily car, go for GR Yaris :-)

Thank you! Yes on snow its amazing ;) track setup 50/50. On wet/dry surface Sport 30/70 feels right to me.
