Thank you! Yes I like it very much, will be taking it into GR Yaris facelift for sure. I would say I have less missshifts, but I generally pay attention not to rush shifting too much to prevent it. But it as the shifting is very accurate it seems to be helping with the issue as well.

Hey, least understeer ISF, then GRY, then R. Its not that bad even with the Golf, you just need to find the right technique for the haldex to go with 50/50 instantly. Driving - GRY, ISF, R. Here the Yaris is a complete animal, raw and most accurate. Isf not bad, but much less “kart feeling”. Suspension - GRY, ISF, R. Again, GRY is made for pure fun, ISF - facelifted - is actually not bad at all, but its a GT, and the difference to GRY is really huge. ISF is definitelly sportier than R. Also, the ISF isnt that much heavy in its category. ISF would be my perfect daily. Classy, comfortable, sporty, noisy ;-) the R is a great compromise for everything, it does nothing perfectly, but its truly a great one-car-for-all if your budget allows you just one car for family, vacations and fun. It just cant match the GRY, its a different animal with no compromise. Its actually a horrible daily with kids, but I fuckin love it anyway.

I have nice memories for that time, but no. I have moved on. GR Yaris is different beast, and second family car is more practical. But for the situation having only one car for everything, the R would still be my choice 👍🏻

Using throttle mode only, 54km is my “record” so far. But I did not try to make one, it was just the longest ride so far. Usually I do 30-40km rides, usually returning with 20-30% battery left.

@@TheSmalltwin I would say, if you feel like you would enjoy the ride on my vids, go for it haha. Another great feature to me is you can carry it on a bike rack behind your car anywhere with you easily. Also, the charger is not too heavy and fits backpack easily, so you can charge it during the lunch somewhere and enjoy even longer rides.

Its been later rebuilt using forged parts, no issues since then. If you check newer vids with this car, you can see serious improve of its performance

@@GR_Yaris What is the cost of building such an engine? I am about to get an NC1 and would like to go turbo after a while, if I would find a reliable way to do it.

@@relay133 engine itself lets say 6000 usd. You need some ecu and bunch other parts, cooling system, intake, exhaust, headers, clutch…some tuner’s work, lets say another 10k usd. Suspension, brakes, wheels another 6k USD usd. Rust-free undamaged car is a good start. But its a shitload of money and time ;-) but yeah, its perfect. When I finished this project, I made like 5000 km with it, then I received a GR Yaris and almost didnt drive it 🙈🤣 want to buy it? Im building the GR Yaris now 😅

@@relay133 😀😀 It could be done cheaper for sure, I just hunted the perfection with this car so budget was not the primary view. “Too bad” the GR Yaris is that good, all-year any purpose car covered with warranty. Thats really hard to beat even the mx-5 is a rwd 🤷🏼‍♂️ find the most reliable and focused people you can to help you with the build. I’d say that makes a huge difference once finished. Either it works as intended, or you just adjust some shit all the time. Either because wrong parts, or shitty work of someone.

Well mostly just throttle. You can see later I used pedals for dead slow speeds at very steep parts, as its better for the bike to help it get going from complete stop with second chain as the tension for main chain is extreme at that point (I though it could break at that point).

@@TheSmalltwin very much. Its perfect for me. You can go anywhere with it and people are OK with it. Its 1/3 weight of an enduro motorbike and have similar power (up to ~50kmh). You can take it anywhere with your car and bike rack. Distance is Ok for me, it varies 30-50km if you use only throttle, depends how much you push it. It excels in technic driving just like in this vid, your body is dead way earlier than the batteries. Once I finish it, I will upload another vid, how it handles on fast easy dirt road (which I took to get to the Martin-Busch Hutte - starting point of this vid).

@@TheSmalltwin I would suggest you to contact the owner and discuss finish of the bike according to your needs. I would say really great spec starts with 10kw and mt7 brakes 👍🏻

Hey, I have replaced the oem one at 65k kms, it was not cooked, but clutch valve was KO and decided to replace whole clutch at once. I think the clutch itself would lasted another 30k kms. I dont do clutchkicks nor launch the car.

Hey man, this time I had some random winter tyres - Nankang Winter Activa 4 🤷🏼‍♂️ worked well 😅

1/ Get harder tires over ps4s - I found PSS much better and I use those as daily tire (harder sidewall, better grip on dry surface) 2/ camber bolts to adjust front camber 3/ both lower and upper pillowballs to fix that adjusted camber. 4/ drive Sport - its natural for the car and it generally stresses the gearing the least (no overheating) Thats it :-)

@@bobanppvc np man, enjoy it! The car is fantastic, anyone can turn it into animal if needed - I like that. Still even with this being fixed, it still is an 4WD which naturally comes with some understeer, but with right tires and better alignment, it definitelly gets better 👍🏻
