After seeing the remastered version. I can confidently say that the older version is a bit better. SMG4 Was way more unfiltered back in the day and always had that crappy gmod flair. Nowadays in his newer videos everything is very nicely animated wich isnt bad but comes at the cost of using the old nintendo sprites. But hey overall im glad with the result of the remaster.
When you think about it, there’s really no difference between hearing a swear word and hearing a bleep sound; If there’s a bleep, you can still clearly tell what they’re saying. This is why complaining about censorship in Smg4 is dumb. Although I definitely can’t deny that the remaster ruined the ending.

this version is so much better then the remastered one, they messed up so much in the new one because in balloon battle mario just casually walks out of his car to peach while here he just rams her with the car. and when toad gets the gold shroom he doesnt slowly approach the item box and lets his fish car kiss the item box, in the original here he just drives into it. and for the boss fight toad doesnt become an angel and flies off, he just accepts fate and drives into the lavapit, which i found way funnier. and peach trying to be friends gets a smash from a fist instead of getting jumoed on by links car, which i found bad in the remaster. and the toad scene where he has the monster truck was also better here. and overall models and voicelines were messed up in the remaster, but maybe thats cuz copyright.

After seeing the remastered version. I can confidently say that the older version is a bit better. SMG4 Was way more unfiltered back in the day and always had that crappy gmod flair. Nowadays in his newer videos everything is very nicely animated wich isnt bad but comes at the cost of using the old nintendo sprites. But hey overall im glad with the result of the remaster.
When you think about it, there’s really no difference between hearing a swear word and hearing a bleep sound; If there’s a bleep, you can still clearly tell what they’re saying. This is why complaining about censorship in Smg4 is dumb.
Although I definitely can’t deny that the remaster ruined the ending.

this version is so much better then the remastered one, they messed up so much in the new one because in balloon battle mario just casually walks out of his car to peach while here he just rams her with the car. and when toad gets the gold shroom he doesnt slowly approach the item box and lets his fish car kiss the item box, in the original here he just drives into it. and for the boss fight toad doesnt become an angel and flies off, he just accepts fate and drives into the lavapit, which i found way funnier. and peach trying to be friends gets a smash from a fist instead of getting jumoed on by links car, which i found bad in the remaster. and the toad scene where he has the monster truck was also better here. and overall models and voicelines were messed up in the remaster, but maybe thats cuz copyright.
