Just got back from seeing the new remastered one. This was my first SMG4 video. The old ones have a certain charm to them--all the crappy choppiness/glitchiness/lower quality/etc. just makes it even funnier--but seeing everything SMG4's become now really makes me appreciate how hard he works to entertain us. The new smoother animations take even more effort. Thank you SMG4.

I watched the remake earlier (keep in mind I have not watched a new episode since March of 2022) because it popped up in my recommended after watching the original, and I could barely get past four minutes in because it was just so sanitized of what made his channel blow up in the first place (plus all the funny jokes were censored)
I think it was all the crappiness that made the og special. The remake is not as funny because it took away all of that@@genericvillagerone

Exactly, the remake was really good and definitely better than all of 2022 and 2023 smg4 combined, but the timing of some of the jokes was off, and the over-animation of the remake removes some of the humour
