My first bike! This brings back soo many fond memories. It was old and tired when i bought it, older and tireder when i sold it, but oh! that engine! I recall that the power curve meant that at when you reached UK legal motorway speed limit of 70 mph, the engine was just starting on the steep part of the curve, so your speed would just creep up, and you’d be at 80-90 without noticing!
You had really cool first bike 👍 Yeah, really nice engine…and best ”gearbox” on any Honda I have ridden 😅 (maybe because of that planetary gear shifter system…? 🤔) My first bike was Yamaha DT125, then had Cagiva Mito 125…First big bike was just Suzuki SV 650 S (1st gen), then Honda VFR750F (4th gen), Buell XB12Scg (2nd gen)… Before 125’s of course mopeds; Honda Monkey, Semi-auto Honda Monkey, Helkama Ässä…
Nice Bike great ride and scenery!
