Your woodland tree has inspired me! Several years ago I wrote a book about my family legacy at the Grand Canyon. I am going to use diary entries, some over 115 years old, vintage photos of rustic life at the canyon, I even have one of my grandfather-in-law and a Kolb brother camped at rivers edge with a Merry Christmas sign 1911 tucked in the rocks behind them..How delightful...nature, history and most of all family from long ago!! Thanks for the little push!
Both trees are so beautiful, but I would have to choose the Scottish Woodland as my favorite. It oozes warm and cozy vibes and is so lush and full of beautiful goodies to look at. You never stop gifting us with your creative and inspiring ideas. Thank you for sharing your gorgeous trees with us!
I loved both trees. You are one amazing lady. I laughed when I saw you outside doing some of the crafts. We have snow here and it is in the teens during the day. I won’t be outside to repurpose any decor 😊
Stunning! If I were a guest in your home, I would be "that guest" who ignored the conversations, and became lost in the magic. I love how you combined the 3 ideas. Just stunning!!!
I am a major nature lover and all four of my grandparents were born and raised in Scotland. So of course I love the Scottish woodlood tree the most. Magnificent!!
I can’t make up my mind they’re both gorgeous. We had a White tree when I was little and I always love them there’s something very magical about the frozen lake tree you did. So pretty!
I prefer the Scottish Woodland tree, but the frozen lake had really beautiful sparkle to it and the blue ribbon was just a perfect touch for a pop of beautiful color!
Hi Sherry. Both trees are absolutely beautiful! But, my favorite is the woodland tree. The mother and child ornament was a great find. So beautiful! I love how you use things in different ways, or in different areas of the house to give it a new life and look. Thank you for inspiring us.
Good afternoon, Sherry! Yay! So excited to see your beautiful holiday decor ideas. Your home is so lovely. I adore the Scottish woodland theme. ❤🎄❤ Thanks in advance for sharing and inspiring! xoxo Bobbie.
I agree! And, I feel like a woodland theme harks back to the early pioneering days of America (in other words, it reminds me of “Little House on the Prairie”)!
Yes, indeed the Scottish Woodland was my favourite but honestly all the wonderful ideas and beautiful creations are spectacular. You never disappoint - genius ideas!. I also appreciate your philosophy of not spending mindlessly on expensive decor but rather making our own unique decor with ideas rather than money. Truly inspirational. xx
Sherry, your trees are magical! I love your combined themes, Scottish and woodland together! You have such unique ideas for repurposing. It inspires me to look at objects in a new way - like coasters for ornaments! What a fun video, thank you so much for the inspiration!
Both beautiful! Last year I made a nautical tree with hand made ornaments using shells, starfish and sea urchins. I was so proud of it! You inspired me to create something beautiful. Thank you for sharing your lovely ideas.
I absolutely love the ideas for reusing things we already have. I can't wait to dig mine out and get to work. Thank you for sharing and inspiring us to not only be frugal but to think outside the box!
So reminiscent of my grandmother’s trees, we got our trees from woods in Florida and they were kinda sparse but Christmas morning it was magical! Like Elfies and fairies decorated it! Covered heavily with tinsel, little decorated cones filled with small toys and candies (tussie mussies) like little baskets all such a delight to a small child! Blessed and safe days!
Sherry, both trees are marvellous but I’m drawn to nature so my favourite is the tartan woodland theme. Repurposing what we already have is great for both our finances and the environment. Can’t wait to see next week’s video! 🇨🇦❤️
Sherry, I love the bowl with snow and bird! Snow is so pretty, but it tends to fly around, and the cat gets into it. Containing it in a pretty bowl is a great idea.
Your Scottish Woodland tree definitely gets my vote! I'm currently working on an Xmas Card wreath from one of your previous videos, and can't wait to finish it and get it hung! Thanks as always for such inspiring ideas!
Both trees are stunning but I’m definitely drawn to the Frozen Lake tree! It seems so ethereal and just radiates from within!! As always your videos just spark so much inspiration from your amazing creativity! 🥰
I love your videos so much!!! I have made several of your projects already and the feedback from others is so overwhelming positive. Thank you for helping this financially strapped but creatively open gal have a fun beautiful Christmas!! God bless!!
The Scottish and Woodland trees remind me of the trees from my past.....the colors, the ribbon, the little creatures, so fun. About 9 years ago I started a new vibe in our home. Using the colors of shades of blues and golden colors. So all of your trees are favorites for different reasons.
Oh yay! Your tree decorating was one of my most favorites last year, this year isn't any different. 👍❤ And, oooh the ideas for repurposing. So many! Thank you so much!
Thank you, Kimberly! I hope I shared an idea or two that you hadn’t thought of! Repurposing old wreaths and garlands is such a money saver, and my Goodwill gets so many donated wreaths that they sell them for under $3 most of the time!
I love both trees but I think the Scottish woodland tree is my favorite. Every year, the kids and I make new ornaments for the tree. We recycle old ornaments and make new ones. Now I have two grandchildren to join in on the tradition.
Thank you, Susan! Do you remember that lime mixture that I used on terracotta pots this fall? I was going to try that on some ball ornaments, too, but I thought I better move on to another idea! 😜
Sherry! What lovely trees! Since I am in an apartment I have opted for a smaller tree and change themes as well. One thing I did after my father passed away was to take all of his bow ties, cut them into strips and make small Christmas tree ornaments out of them. Also I took a couple of his favorite ties and just hung them on the tree. For other non traditional things I also used my kids first baby shoes and the collars or tags from my special pets that are no longer here. (Either putting the tags in a larger plastic ornament or just hanging them with a ribbon. We even had raised a Canadian goose baby (and we were able to successfully let him go) but I collected several of his feathers and put them in a clear ornament as well. (I know kinda weird, but it was a nice way to remember him.). 😊. 😊
I love both. Our 5yr Granddaughter would love the white frozen tree obviously. I love the Scottish woodland tree. Although I do tend to have themes on smaller trees, the main tree in our lounge as anything and everything on it going back 30yrs. Xxx
All lovely ideas and I love how you shared other ideas from Pinterest and other channels. Such great inspirations. I really love the woodlands tartan plaid tree. I always love the tartan patterns for Christmas. Have a blessed day
Thank you, Annie! I am happy to share ideas from other creators! Sammie of Unicorn Dust Designs shared my channel with her viewers in one of her videos during my first year, so I have been on the receiving end. TH-cam is hard work (as you well know), so we’ve got to support each other when we can. I know that you are very generous in this way, too! 🥰
I love the Scottish woodland, but the Frozen Lake brought back so many great memories from Christmas at my grandparents when I was younger. They always did I white tree with blue ornaments. Tfs ❤️
Oh my gosh! Both are beautifully done! The Scottish Woodland is so warm and cozy and hits all the Christmas notes! And the Frozen Lake is just stunning! You are amazing! 🎄❤️🎄
I gravitate to the Woodland tree but the frozen lake brings tears to my eyes because my dad always wanted a blue and green Christmas tree but the ladies in the family were not convinced - he bought some none the less and now I own his original vintage 1960's shiny brite blue and green ornaments in his memory.
I like both trees. I am one of those silly women that puts a tree in every room with a different theme on each. I just happen to love it that way. This year I'm doing a tree with teacups, cooky cutters and vintage flatware. Fun fun fun
I love that white tree with blue ornaments!! (I'm not a winter person, and afraid of water, so frozen lake isn't the title I prefer to use.) You have more energy than anyone I know, and you're so exceptionally creative. Love your ideas. Thanks for sharing.
I love the traditional Scottish tree since I am both of those! lol I still have a decoration that my sister made for me 42 years ago. She blew out an eggshell, cut the Garfield character from one of her Garfield cartoon books, and the words Merry Christmas. She used mod podge to attach them to the eggshell and mod podged it again and then sprinkled white sparkly snow on it. It has had a very special place on the top few branches of every Christmas tree since 1980.
I love this! I remember when blowing out eggs was a popular craft, but I have never tried it! I am amazed that your egg has not broken over the course of 42 years! I broke three ornaments just this week! 😜
I love them both. I have done a white tree with the same color theme with blue, white and silver, however since I live in North Texas (outside Dallas city limits) it would get confused for a Dallas Cowboy tree which it was most certainly not. I would have to explain it was a winter wonderland tree. I haven't put up a tree in a few years due to circumstances however I decided that since my circumstances are different now I might try and get one up this year and oddly enough a few months ago when I thought about it I thought a woodland tree would be my new theme. It's just so ironic now seeing this video. I absolutely love the ornaments made out of wood slices. I have 25 acres with an over abundance of cedar trees and this summer we trimmed up some and we still have some of what was cut on the ground so I am definitely going to make ornaments similar to yours along with also adding back and white pictures of my grandchildren on them as well to personalize them.
Beautiful ideas Ms. Sherry. Both trees look amazing but I think I love the Scottish woodland tree the most…I’m a sucker for the traditional red & green Christmas colors. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much for your dedication to decor on a dime. Right now alot of us are hurting financially and it is comforting to have ideas of things to do to make our homes cozier whether for the holidays or everyday that involve more creativity than cash.
My fav was the Scottish Woodland and it goes so beautifully with your home decor. I’m not a fan of white trees. All your ideas for the ornaments were great. You always bring the unusual and beautiful to the table, that’s why I love watching your videos!
.... What beautiful Trees, each in thier own way. It's a difficult choice, since I myself like to do the White tree, with certain colours ,depending on what I choose for the decor, it varies. I think the Scottish Woodland Tree looks so at home in the location you chose, it's a wow in the room ! And the ribbons, and the sparkle of the Frozen Lake Tree,... just so lovely. What a great Video, and timely enough to allow for making of ornaments, in case one chooses to do so. Thank you, Miss Sherry .... on a side note, the black blouse that you had on at the beginning of the Video looks absolutely great on you. . It is so pretty, and festive . Cheers and Blessings!
The Scottish woodland was my favorite! You are such an inspiration to me! Such a creative mind you have! I thank God I found your channel, and can’t wait until a new one comes out!❤️
Hi Sherry, My favorite is the Scottish woodland tree but , I myself have always wanted a silver and blue tree. I believe this will be the first time ever in my life I will not put up a tree. In October 2000 I left an abusive relationship and had to quickly get an apartment and because of a low salary I had to put 3 months rent down. That Christmas I literally made every single gift and I we t to a park and collected branches long wispy ones . I had gold spray paint on hand and sprayed them I stuck them into a nice clear vase packed with quilter's pollyfill I had on hand and on top of the pollyfill had mini pinecones. I hung light weight ornaments. I may do that this year too. In years past I lived with my mom and we had a live tree and even last year my first year without my .om, but still in her house, I had a certain pine my mom loved but, the name escapes me. The flat I am in now is 610 SQ FT and it's just so very tiny. I inherited all my mind furniture which are all large pieces and I am overwhelmed here just with everyday life. Most everything I own is in storage or are boxed up still in my living room. The framed painting of Mary and baby Jesus is called Mother Of The Streets. I use to work PT at a funeral home and they are one of our prayer cards. My mom had a large print of that in an oval gold frame. Years ago in Better Homes and Gardens they had in the Christmas issue large apothecary jars, large round wide bowls such as you have and trifle bowls with woodland decorations inside. My mom took a fancy with the trifle bowl one with a nest inside and Christmas tree branches around the best. I had rec'd a nice trifle bowl as an engagement gift (never married) and I never used it. I had a nest I found on hand and the bird had weaved they the sticks cigarette butt into the sticks. At a craft store called Total Crafts I bought faux pine springs and my mom loved the Gold Finch so I bought a mini one to hook onto the pine. I had a couple of pine cones in it too. I had always stayed with my mom Christmas Eve and she was always in bed early. While she was sleeping I tiptoed to the living room and put my arrangement on the one end. Christmas morning when she came out of her bedroom until the living room she saw it right away and she loved it. I have had it in my since I relocated but before Christmas I will put it in the living room. I think I will put it on the dining room table with a small string of lights around the base. I shall close. I have to get up at 5:30 and finish my kitchen cleaning for my apartment inspection tomorrow. I love all your creations! Fondly, Rebekah
Oh Cherie! I'm late to the party, but I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed the video. The Scottish Tartan/Woodland tree is the one I like best. My favorite colors are red, followed by a muted green, and the woodland ornaments were the best. My late sister would have chosen Frozen Lake. In fact, I'm certain a tree inspired by yours would have been up so fast it would make your head spin! They are both beautiful. Your creativity is inspiring. Thank you so much. Sending love & prayers, 🕊🦁🐑💖🙏💖
So beautiful -I love the woodland tree. In the 1980s we have a cat who scratch all of glass bulbs near the bottom of the tree so we redecorate the with fancy Christmas paper. Of course I made a few with Duran Duran and Rick Springfield pics ....lol I still have the teen idols ones.
You are every bit as talented, if not more, than Martha Stewart. Both trees are beautiful, but the Scottish Woodland is my favorite. Perhaps being part Scottish and growing up on a farm makes me come by it very honestly. Thank you for sharing your beautiful ideas with us! You are so talented and an incredible woman.
Oh, my goodness, this is amazing Debbie! Christmas and the Grand Canyon-what a magical combination! 🥰
This is what I love. Nature. History. It doesn't get any better until you add Christmas, of course!
Scottish woodland was my favorite but the frozen lake ran a very close second. Beautifully done!
Thank you, GG!😊
Scottish Woodland
Agree.
Absolutely. I'd be playing in the tree seeing all the magical ornaments. It would be like a nature hunt to see everything she made.
Thank you, Joyce! 😊
Great video! Cheap and easy rust-look: sprinkle cinnamon!
oh my goodness, that Scottish woodland tree is so traditional and cozy. So beautiful, but the frozen lake tree is also beautiful. Love your videos!
Thank you, Sandra! 😊
This is all excellent Sherrie. I love the tartan red traditional tree and woodland then white tree. Love from the UK.
Both of your trees are gorgeous. I love red and green for Christmas, so the Scottish woodland tree spoke to my heart.
Love both trees but the Scottish woodland is my favorite! Such cute ornament ideas on both trees!
Hi Sherry. Both trees are absolutely beautiful! But, my favorite is the woodland tree. The mother and child ornament was a great find. So beautiful! I love how you use things in different ways, or in different areas of the house to give it a new life and look. Thank you for inspiring us.
I love the Scottish woodland themed tree. But they are both beautiful!
Good afternoon, Sherry! Yay! So excited to see your beautiful holiday decor ideas. Your home is so lovely. I adore the Scottish woodland theme. ❤🎄❤ Thanks in advance for sharing and inspiring! xoxo Bobbie.
Good afternoon, Bobbie! Thank you for those sweet compliments. Whew! I barely finished this video on time. Decorating two trees takes some time!
Enjoyed the video Sherry. They both are so pretty but my fave is the woodland and plaid. 😁
I love them both, but my favorite was the woodland! I love nature of any kind.
Truly inspirational. xx
I love the Scottish Woodland tree. It looks so cozy and homey along with your home decor.
Thank you, Linda! It was really fun to decorate two completely different trees! 😊
Sherry, your trees are magical! I love your combined themes, Scottish and woodland together! You have such unique ideas for repurposing. It inspires me to look at objects in a new way - like coasters for ornaments! What a fun video, thank you so much for the inspiration!
The Scottish Woodland grabbed my heart.
Both beautiful! Last year I made a nautical tree with hand made ornaments using shells, starfish and sea urchins. I was so proud of it! You inspired me to create something beautiful. Thank you for sharing your lovely ideas.

The Scottish Woodland was my favorite. Absolutely beautiful.
So happy that you're given us all three choices! The tartan plaid is really adorable.
Oh, thank you, Vicki! 😊
My favorite is the Scottish woodland tree. All of them are beautiful, but the woodland theme is nostalgic for me.
Love the woodland Scottish theme! Fantastic and creative ideas as always. Thank you for sharing the joy!
Sherry, I love the bowl with snow and bird! Snow is so pretty, but it tends to fly around, and the cat gets into it. Containing it in a pretty bowl is a great idea.

The frozen lake tree is beautiful, but I love the Scottish woodland tree!!!!
The Scottish Woodland Tree sings carols to my tartan heart! I love it!
🎄💚❤️🎄❤️💚 🎄
Thank you, Marilyn! I think it needs a little more tartan. I’ll have to buy some more ribbon! 🏴
I love both. Our 5yr Granddaughter would love the white frozen tree obviously. I love the Scottish woodland tree. Although I do tend to have themes on smaller trees, the main tree in our lounge as anything and everything on it going back 30yrs. Xxx
Scottish woodland for the win!! The frozen lake is beautiful too but I can never pull myself away from traditional Christmas colors. 😁
All lovely ideas and I love how you shared other ideas from Pinterest and other channels. Such great inspirations. I really love the woodlands tartan plaid tree. I always love the tartan patterns for Christmas. Have a blessed day

The blue with that white is so pretty. I love the branches sticking out of the woodland tree. Love ❤ them both.
Scottish Woodland is just beautiful.
Scottish woodland..gives such a warm feeling!
Both trees are lovely, but the blue / white tree is magical!
Hands down, the Scottish Woodland! You never disappoint Sherry!
I absolutely love the Scottish woodland tree and the owls!! Just my style.
The Scottish woodland was my favorite .. The owls were also my favorite.. EVERYTHING was beautiful!
Thank you, Jo!
The Scottish woodland is my favorite. And the porch lantern.
I love the Scottish woodland, but the Frozen Lake brought back so many great memories from Christmas at my grandparents when I was younger. They always did I white tree with blue ornaments. Tfs ❤️
I have never been a fan of the traditional 'red and green' decor for x-mas, so the frozen lake -white tree decor are my favorite.
Ms. B. Churchill
Oh my gosh! Both are beautifully done! The Scottish Woodland is so warm and cozy and hits all the Christmas notes! And the Frozen Lake is just stunning! You are amazing! 🎄❤️🎄
Oh, thank you so much, Gina! 😊
Both Trees were gorgeous, however, the Scottish Woodland tree really appealed to my love of nature!
Scottish Woodlands is my favorite. I love the incredible homemade ornaments and ideas. But, I love anything you make.
Scottish woodland was my firm favourite. The colours and textures were so Christmassy.
Scottish woodlands. Love the branches sticking out. 😍
Scottish woodland is so beautiful! Your attention to detail is impeccable. Your blessed to have such a creative mind and a go-getter spirit.

Well...I don't want to hurt either tree's feelings, so the truth is, they are both beautiful and I love them both! ❤️
I love them both. I have done a white tree with the same color theme with blue, white and silver, however since I live in North Texas (outside Dallas city limits) it would get confused for a Dallas Cowboy tree which it was most certainly not. I would have to explain it was a winter wonderland tree. Scottish Woodland hands down. Thank you for being a blessing that you are!
Thank you! 😊
Beautiful ideas Ms. Sherry.
Both trees look amazing but I think I love the Scottish woodland tree the most…I’m a sucker for the traditional red & green Christmas colors.
Thank you for sharing.
No way could I chose between the trees! Impossible! They are both so very beautiful. Thank you for always having the best ideas💛🎄💛
Scottish woodland. Creative and comforting. Very pretty
Thank you so much for your dedication to decor on a dime. Right now alot of us are hurting financially and it is comforting to have ideas of things to do to make our homes cozier whether for the holidays or everyday that involve more creativity than cash.
Sherry, both of them were beautiful but “The Scottish Woodland” was my favorite. Love all of the ideas.
💜💜💜
The Scottish Woodland tree is my favorite. Lovely ideas.
The Scottish Woodland is my favorite. Just beautiful ❤❤❤❤
Thank you, Debbie! 😊

The Scottish woodland was my favorite too!!! Wow, what talent😊🎄
Scottish woodland was my favorite l love getting things from outside and making ornaments and decorations
My fav was the Scottish Woodland and it goes so beautifully with your home decor. I’m not a fan of white trees. All your ideas for the ornaments were great. You always bring the unusual and beautiful to the table, that’s why I love watching your videos!
The Scottish woodland is my favorite, however, they are both absolutely gorgeous! 💖
You always have great ideas 🥰🥰
My favourite was the Scottish red tree 😉
Thank you, Sandra! 😊
I love both trees, hard to choose! I think the frozen lake is my favorite.
Loved the woodland tree but also loved what you did with the frozen lake tree on transforming the old ortaments to the pretty blue ones.
The Scottish woodland also my favorite! Absolutely stunning decor, I do like the frozen lake one as well.
.... What beautiful Trees, each in thier own way. It's a difficult choice, since I myself like to do the White tree, with certain colours ,depending on what I choose for the decor, it varies.
I thank God I found your channel, and can’t wait until a new one comes out!❤️
Both trees are gorgeous but I like the Scottish woodland because I prefer the greenery!
Both of the trees are beautiful, but my favorite is Scottish Woodland♥️
Scottish woodland is my favorite! I still like red and green colors for Christmas decoration.
I like the Scottish Woodland tree the best, but your blue and White blue Lake Tree is elegant!
Loved both tree's, but I would say the woodland tree is my favorite.
Just beautiful! Picking a favorite tree is like picking a favorite child....I just can't pick😉
Hi Sherry,
My favorite is the Scottish woodland tree but , I myself have always wanted a silver and blue tree. I believe this will be the first time ever in my life I will not put up a tree.
Fondly,
Rebekah
The Scottish Woodland was my favorite. I enjoy watching you so much.
Oh, thank you so much, Carla! You’re so sweet! 😊
Both trees are beautiful. I like the Scottish woolands best because it reminds me of my childhood. Great ideas.
I love the frozen lake tree. I am partial to decorating with blue. They are both beautiful.
