The word ‘Christian’ is possibly the most misused word in the English language. It actually means to think, speak, and act like Christ and to imitate his example in every way. Many professed Christians do the complete opposite and are involved in politics, something that Jesus and the first century Christians refused to be involved in. I think it’s so sad that so many people are completely misled by the churches and the clergy. They really should compare what the Bible teaches with what the churches teach and they would see that the two aren’t at all alike. Just think about these two examples. Look at the way the clergy are dressed in this video, or in any church for that matter. Jesus dressed the same as everybody else. That’s why when Judas betrayed him Judas had to identify who Jesus was to those who had come to arrest him. Jesus said at Matthew 23:8 that all his followers are brothers, or equals. So there was no clergy-laity distinction among the early Christians. This distinction arose about 200 years after Jesus’ death when the foretold apostasy deviated from Bible teachings and we see its fruitage in the churches today. The religious leaders are just like those of Jesus’ day, of whom he said: “This people honors me with their lips, yet their heart is far removed from me. It is in vain that they keep worshiping me, because they teach commands of men as doctrines”. (Matthew 15:8, 9)

And others who said to Pilate "....If thou let this man go, thou art not Caesar's friend: whosoever maketh himself a king speaketh against Caesar'' (Joh 19:12). Still political!
Furthermore, Pilate placed this charge over Yahushua's' head on the Cross "This is Yahushua, The King of The Jews" (Mat 27:37; Mar 15:26; Luk 23:38; Joh 19:19). Political, once more!
Even though it wasn't used before His death, surely, Yahushua knew the word "Christian(s)" would come up along the way, but He did not send His disciples to make "Christians" of all nations, rather, He sent them to make more "disciples," those who would learn and observe His commands.
19 "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen" (Mat 28:19-20).
So, just because the word "Christians," plural or singular, is in the Bible (Act 11:26; 26:28; 1Pe 4:16) and we were told that it means "followers of Christ," and Peter encouraged the disciples not to be ashamed if they suffer as a "Christian" that doesn't necessarily make it an approved name for the disciples of Yahushua, if we factor in the motive of those who had first called them "Christians."
Furthermore, such a name is more befitting of the politically-minded wolves in sheep's clothing (Mat 7:15), who would eventually invade the Churches with their " Caesar" driven secret agenda under their crying shame religious system, "Christianity"; think of the Crusades and the present day disgraces of "Christianity." O, how the crafty serpent slithered in and filled many Church leaders' hearts with ardent desires, which, ironically, match and not repel the motive behind the crafty labels, "Christians" and "Christianity"
Beware of them! "Political Christians." They'll come and try to persuade you to choose their 'kings' but never Yahushua, your Saviour and King of kings (1Ti 6:15; Rev 17:14; 19:16).
Correct them with sound doctrine, if you're a disciple of Yahushua the Messiah, our Saviour and King (Mat 9:19; 10:1; Mar 3:7; Luk 9:18; Joh 2:2; Act 9:1) and not a "Christian."
