Every serious young man, who is a child of God, has instructions about his family even before marriage. The wife only comes to help fulfill them.Sure there'd be times you'll listen to them even if it doesn't sit well with you But the bulk of the decisions comes from a correct head.
Abraham didn't want Ishmael to leave but God asked him to listen to Sarah in that matter.
If from the beginning of meeting the person, you discern that she'll not submit to God's purpose for your life .Please don't waste your time or anointing. FREE her fast..never fall for "there's no perfect woman anywhere" or "she'll change".Only accept the latter if God( who knows the end before the beginning) is the one telling you that.
Some in a bid to unlearn and relearn have eaten the forbidden fruit like Adam, obliged Sarah in the case of Abraham etc.

True she respects him and he respects her! Which cannot be underestimated. I have Nigerian friends who say" the only woman a Nigerian man can respect is a Nigerian woman:. So this can destroy a relationship if the partner is not willing to unlearn the beliefs and practices which he holds close to him .
No she doesn't. And she's not patient nor that intelligent. She may have taken heed after (several) of us wrote how awful she was demeaning him when he needed to poop on the drive home. This shows she's not that intelligent. She often demeans him too. That's not respect.

I am the same way with my husband. No matter how hungry I am it makes me so happy to feed him first and then when I go to eat I legit take a couple bites and hand it straight to him. It’s not a masochist thing, it literally just makes me happy to see how happy he gets. It’s so cute like he’s a baby eating real food for the first time.

Side note: I'm a foodie too, and not much in life makes me more annoyed than when people mess up my order (because i've used the time between placing it and recieving it to psych myself up about it only to be disappointed) and when people rip me off with substandard portion sizes.

I'm a American woman and my boyfriend is Nigerian and he has blue eyes often people thought he was demonic and a marine spirit /mermaid. He is still in Nigeria and right now we are going through the culture differences and my o my it's a challenge but he is so patient and pure hearted ,we are learning and unlearning for sure. I'm learning igbo and pigdin English we just laugh for hours . I pray we can come together in person as it's hard . Ty Ling and Lamb for all your inspiration.

This is so good in general. I’m always reminded of cultural differences when I go back home to Dominican Republic. My children got to experience this as well when we visited last month. This is such a good lesson even outside of marriage.
