Im a malaysian, but had the chance growing up Half my life in the UK when my mum did her PHD there. I grew up in benwell, newcastle upon tyne. Eventhough there were sweet memories, but growing up as a muslim asian kid thre ws hard, especially racism in highschool/college.
When we went back, only then i realise tht my own country is better in terms of the flaws living in another country. Dont get me wrong, malaysia is not perfect.. But it tolerates the migrants and other races better. We follow the ahli sunnah wal jamaah, we condemn extremism and we try to cater to other needs of other races according to islam.
Infact so that even in some factors such as economy, other races such as the chinese do better than us muslim malays. We try to give everyone equal chances according to islam.
As a malaysian, im very proud that a sheikh as ZN chooses malaysia as his second home. This adds to our many more scholars and preachers that never stops teaching us the real islam. Alhamdulillah..

Malaysia only have flood during monsoon season which only affected a few area in the country as the country is a tropical country with tropical climate.

I have been thinking about Hijrah, but if you are from West and grown up here, it is hard to know where could you go.
Most Muslim countries, especially Arab nations do not give you a citizenship, just work visas, and then they will kick you out.
I thought about Turkey but from what some people are saying, there are lot of Sufis and secular people, so why go there?
No one is stopping me practicing Islam here, there are a lot of mosques and my kids go to Islamic school. I feel like being visibly Muslim here is dawah.

      @Bell Olli
Qur'an is a book which is preserved from more than 1400 years ago.
A book which can't be proved wrong.
A book which speaks about science at the time when there were no science and technology exist.
      A book which speaks about
      How were we created?
For what reason we are created?
What is our purpose in this life?
      Who is our creator?
These all answer is given in only one book Quran which is word of Allah our creator Who gives life and death and will again resurrect us on the Day of Judgment.
Here is the proof that Qur'an is God's word:
      👉Allah almighty our creator says,
*“We made every living thing from water? will they not believe?”* [Quran, 21:30]
      Origin of life
The fact that living things consist mostly of water was discovered only after the invention of the microscope. But Quran has already mentioned it before its invention.
This is a big sign for the people that Qur'an is God's word. Who could have mention this fact 1400 years ago?
Only the creator of everything can tell this fact.
      *One example of our body*
Water composition is the percentage of body fluid as compared to total body weight. The human body is 50-75% water. The average adult male has 50-65% water and the average female 45-60% water. Higher rates of water content are found in babies and children.
*"In the name of Allah the Beneficent, the Merciful."*
This Message is from the slave and Messanger of Allah Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) to the Mankind.
Peace be upon him, who follows the right path. Furthermore
I invite you to Islam, and if you become a Muslim you will be safe, and Allah will double your reward, and if you reject this invitation of Islam you will be committing a sin.
(And I recite to you Allah's Statement:)
      👉Allah almighty our creator says,
*Say, "O people of the Book! Come to what is common between us and you, that we worship none but Allah; that we associate nothing with Him and that none of us shall make as our Lord any other than Allah."*
*If they reject your invitation, then tell them plainly, "Bear witness that we are Muslims (who worship and surrender to Allah alone)."*
      Qur'an (3:64)
      👉Allah almighty says,
*Your real Deity is but One. He Who is Lord of the earth and the heavens and of all that is between them, and Lord of all Easts.*
      Qur'an (37:5)
Once we die our creator will again resurrect us on the Judgment day.And on that day if you have believed in Allah and have followed his book Quran then you will be succeed in the hereafter life.

Well, If Malaysia provided citizenship way too easy the country would be have massive immigrants to our country. Massive Immigrants means more problem would arise. Like there's already 1 million Chinese from China that does not leave Malaysia was caught recently. Malaysia is a country that have only 60% muslims population. Barely majority, If the numbers of non-muslims increase drastically we probably cannot protects current policy that exist to protects muslims rights. And we, already had our hands full with trying to unify various races in the country. influx of to many group of different group of races could be a disaster when they unintentionally/intentionally triggered the current citizens. We already had a bloodbath incident in the past where Chinese and Malays waging war to each others.

Salaam alaikum Dr Zakir Naik. There is one important detail or question you are not considering for your analysis: how welcoming or accepting are these "Muslim" countries to those fellow Muslims who wish to migrate there? In my experience, the best you can get from such countries is student-based or work-related visa for some years, with little to zero hope of settlement or permanent residency (which migration is all about).
For you, Dr Naik, these Muslim countries may promise (or offer) you citizenship but for the rest of us, chances of settlement is non-existent. I believe Malaysia offers citizenship, but this is the exception as most other Muslim countries do not offer this. Certainly, this is the reality for Gulf Arab Muslim countries, who have stringent if not impossible criteria for permanent settlement or citizenship. Since those Muslim migrants seeking an Islamic society to raise a family cannot all go to Malaysia, then you can see why there is a problem. Would you rather invest many years & career while sitting at the edge of your seat in a Muslim country or would you rather go to a Western country where you have rights to permanent settlement & citizenship? This is the reality for those of us who are not dae's and who cannot get into Malaysia.
Kudos to Malaysia, by the way. May Allah continue to bless that country and make it a safe haven for all Muslims.
In summary, migrating to most of the 57 "Muslim" countries you mentioned is only temporary & work-based. It is a matter of time before you are asked to go or kicked out when your services are no longer required. In short, one cannot go to these Muslim countries with long-term plans for settlement or raise a family (with rest of mind). In the Gulf countries, for example, each time you renew your visa for 2 years, you wonder if its for the last time. So you are always planning your life in 2-year cycles. Which is very uncomfortable and unfortunate. Just as the Prophet (pbuh) migrated to Madina without worrying about exceeding his welcome, Muslim countries should open their arms to Muslim migrants (with decent and attainable settlement criteria). The Western countries are benefiting from the skills and economic growth that migrants bring, but alas, many Muslim countries are xenophobic against their fellow Muslims. They use you and dump you.
Funny enough, if one migrates to these Western countries that you criticise, they will acquire citizenship in 5 to 10 years, after which if they decide to move again (relocate) to Muslim countries, they are more respected (social status, salaries, respect, etc) than if they went with their Indian, Pakistani or African passports.
So in theory, it is easy to discourage Muslim migration to Western countries, but in practice, most Muslims get more rights & privileges as a result of being citizens of these Non-Muslim countries, whether they reside in such countries or if they decide to relocate to Muslim countries. May Allah enlighten the Muslim countries to value their true brothers.
