I really appreciate that these were taught in my school but unfortunately I didn’t get it and I’ve been offering the missed rakkah wrong. Thank you for sharing this knowledge. And what we should do if we join the prayer in last rakkah of duhur?
Hey Salam, Your would get up after the Sala and do three rakahs First: Pray Thana, Fatiha and Surah - Sit in this rakah Second: Fatiha Surah - Don't sit Third: Fatiha - Sit

Before you stand up when the Imam gives salam, do we recite Attahiatu and the salaams or just Attihiatu until the tassahud, and then stand up when the imam gives salam?
Salam my brothers and sisters. My question: I joined the Imam after he was getting up from the first rakah in the Asr prayer today. So, this me meant I missed the first rakuh and sajjod, with me so far? Ok, so we continued and came to the last (4th Rakah of Asr) and when the Imam was done and offered salam, I stood up to make the missed rakah. Now to my question: I recited attah-yat twice for the remaining rakahs till the Imam was done. So when I got up to make the missed rakah, would I be reciting the attah-yat when I sit down again for the 5th time? Also, do I have to recite attah-yat in the last rakah behind the Imam before he offers salaam? or I don't? as I have to stand up to make my missed rakah? Any help is highly appreciated. Jazak Allah Khair.
Do we need to recite hole attahiyat including durid'e obrahim ? Or just recite the attahiyat and wait till imam finish salah then complete rest of your salah ?
In Magrib prayer, if the Imam has prayed Fatihah in his last rakah, and I joined him for this last rakah, then in the two rakats that I make up, after the imam says "Salam", do I recite surah in both raka'at, despite the additional tashahhud between the two raka'at? I will take an implied 'yes' (as answer) to this question. Jazak'Allah Khair.
Yes. According to this video once you will stand up after praying one rakat with imam, it will be counted as your first rakaht but when you will stand then you need to “pretend” that you started new salah and you will recite from start( thanq, fatiha and surat) then you will sit and read qadah. Then you will stand and recite fatiha and surah as you will pretent its your second rakah for reciting but it will be your third so you will sit amd do qadah durood and dua then salam
Salaam shaykh If a person misses 2 rakats of magrib with jamat , when completing the salah does the person sit in tasshaudd in between the 2 rakats or complete the 2 rakats and sit in the final tashahud
If you missses the first two and you were only in time for the last rakat with the jamat. Consider that last rakat as your first rakat and get up immediately to make up for the two After the Imam says Salam. Now when making up for the two rakats, Consider them as your second and final rakat for magrib. This means you sit and do the tasshaud for both rakats. Just like a normal Magrib prayer.
