OMG, I presume you're talking about the evaporation tray under the fridge. Next grossest place in the house next to the drain trap under a bathroom sink! Mold heaven under the right conditions.
I only noticed it when it flopped open and started spilling water on my floor. When I went under to fix the issue, I put my hand in the floppy edge of the tray and YUCK! ;)@@HealthyHomeGuide
Bleach doesn't kill mold very effectively. Instead bleach puts mold into a sort of defense mode, which causes it to produce more toxigenic compounds. Not only that, but bleach is mostly water, so it saturates materials, which is what we don't want.
You're welcome! Lysol contains some harmful compounds, including fragrances. I avoid it. Fragrance-free soap and water is usually sufficient for cleaning. I'm making a video about a cleaning protocol, so stay tuned.
Amazing! Thank you for teaching us
It’s my pleasure! ☺️
I am mold sensitive and was diagnosed by my Functional Medicine doctor with Mold Toxicity. Your channel is a godsend!
Wow, thank you! I'm happy you found my channel. I'm in the same boat.
may I ask where you learned that from? That's incredible!
Isn’t it a great tip? 🙂 I learned it from Paul Bisceglia, an IEP. He works in the New England area of the US.
Thanks for the information. Enjoy your day
Paul Bisceglia must know his stuff 😂

@@PraxisPrepper Omg I cannot imagine the disgust of touching that stuff with your bare hand 😭
"nice" place :)
And while you are it, I would vacuum that heat exchange on the right 2:40 probably helps keeping it effeciently!
Good call!
I was aware of that and cleaning it without even being aware how dangerous it can be..
You’re more conscientious than me then haha
Why hydrogen peroxide and not bleach?
