LAKE DISTRICT FELL RACING | THE ENNERDALE HORSESHOE FELL RACE 2024

The 2024 Ennerdale Horseshoe fell race which took place last Saturday 8th June.
At 23 miles / 7513 feet it's a beast. The second fell race in the Lakeland Classics Trophy series. The next is Buttermere on 22nd June.
I managed to finish this year in 6:45 hrs, a vast improvement on last year's 7:52 hrs. However, this year I wasn't crippled with cramp for the last 8 miles which helped.

Really good work John and great vid as ever. Least conditions were better than forecast too, some of us got hit by hail near Green Gable! Was good to see you. I rolled my ankle pretty bad coming off Crag Fell, so currently not sure about Buttermere which will be a shame. But we'll see, have a good one if I don't see you there :)
