AMD 7000 series CPU's do not like 4 sticks of ram, the ram will be running at a slower speed than the XMP/EXPO. Also make sure your ram is XMP when using XMP or EXPO to make sure you select the correct option in BIOS
Coming from the gpu miner's perspective, having hardware running at more then 90 degrees 24/7 is a no go for me. I prefers the 7900 at 15k mh/s, 90 watts and 60 degrees!
What cooler are you using? I'm running a 7900x on eco mode with an Arctic 240 mining xmr and have it thermal capped to 80c. Cpu is all core 5.1 when mining but my hash rate is 12kh avg
Question when I start my cpu Rig the temperature stat around 66 Celsius but when the room star getting warmer the temperature increases to 70 to 72 that’s is a good temperature for running 24 hours??

just set up my 7900x in BPO Optimizer all core -30 ECO mode 65W it gets 16500 kH ECO mode 105W 18500kH, 65W ECO mode is actually around 90w and 105 is 145W with Arctic Esports duo I get 59C in 65W mode and 80C in 105W mode but in 105 fans spin at 100% so I left it for now in 65W mode since its silent. EDIT now its running 4800mhz at 0.990V with DDR5 6400CL32 with Buildzoids tighter timings at 18400H/S at about 110W
@@slashgg1501 first set the ECO mode 65W or 105W then go into CPU overclocking and enable PBO then go to PBO curve optimizer and set negative voltage but first you need to run Ryzen master in Windows to see how much you can undervolt each core. Just copy and paste the values from Ryzen master into PBO curve optimizer in BIOS

Hi, just a notes from my testing for others. I was testing Kingston 16GB 6000MHZ CL36 EXPO, these are just around 79USD in my Country and Corsairs 32GB/G.SKILL 6000MHZ CL30 are around 170USD. The basic Kingstons Expos giving me 17.8kH, while Corsairs/G.Skills CL30 18.3kh.... Went with Kingstons, these 0.5kh does not worth almost 100usd. Have you had any issues using the 24 pin splitters? When i use them 1 rig wont post but if I plug each rig into its own psu there is no issue. I have used multiple brands splitter with the same results. I got 2 rigs to work with 1 splitter once, then I moved them and cant get it to work anymore with the splitters. Of my 10 rigs only was able to ever get 2 to work with a 24 pin splitter, but after moving them I cant get any to work with splitters now.
Hello, I have 7900x with Gigabyte motherboard B650 Gaming X, but can't see CPU temp under Hive. Have you installed some extra packages under Hive to see the temp for Ryzen 9 series?
I might sounded like an idiot to you but let me ask, how many gpu do we need for the build with 10 cpus and if gpu and mother board need to be high end or not ?
Only need 1 and for the 7000 series don't need any gpus cause it has integrated graphics. On the 3000 and 5000 series after it is set up you remove the GPU it doesn't stay on it.
With AMD mobo does not matter as much. The cheapest B650 board you can find will be good enough as Memory OC has to do with the CPU's memory controller and not the motherboard. Motherboard comes into play for hardcore CPU overclocks but we are not doing that. The gigabyte b650 he has here is a good option for the 7900x. However on Intel the motherboard is important for memory overclocks.

I’m having similar problems - 2 identical MSI (b650-p) MB with one 7900 and one 7900x. Tried two different power supplies and can only get one to work at a time. Using one main board cable splitter and used the 2 cpu cables directly from PSU to connect to each MB CPU port. Can’t get both to work at same time…
@@Angelo-lq3vd I saw in different video that there are actually 8-pin splitter cables. I do not know if that would work. I actually had a GPU miner nearby with a PSU where the 8-pin CPU cable was not being used so I actually used that for one of my motherboards and it works but it is a little bit like Frankenstein's monster

I had to set voltage to 0.95 @ 4700Mhz to keep my 7900X long term stable. If you get lower you're lucky.

So evidently my motherboard A620m "Gaming X" series seems to be the issue. It doesn't have the clock lock or voltage lock settings in the bios :/
Have you tested the 7700x? Hashrate online shows 13000kh mine wont go past 9600kh huge pages enabled.
