I need to clean my furby everyday because me and furby have a "relationship".
I need to put it in water...clothe will not work with C*m
Very helpful! I ran into on small issue with my second-hand Furby, that the red cable connection point was further inside the Furby, so I had to open it a bit more to disconnect it (but I had to do it anyway because the motor has an issue that I'm trying to fix, otherwise I might have skipped that step). Very clear and useful instructions :)

amazing tutorial, thank you! furby booms are my favourite and I have loads of them, but I just got some from some old friends and they're unfortunately not in the best shape. one of them was the exact same furby you used for the demonstration, so that made it way easier to find the right parts!
sadly these guys' battery compartments are so badly corroded that I doubt I can get them back up and running without completely replacing it all, so I'll have to see what I can do. but at least I can get them all nice and clean :) somehow they had like,, dead bugs inside. I imagine moths crawled in hoping to eat the fur, but it's acrylic, so completely inedible.

Do you think that if my furby boom has an ear that's detatching a little bit, will glueing it back to where its meant to be (not affecting movement) solve the problem?

Купили пользованного фёрби через интернет. Он пах пылью и куревом. Очень нуждается в чистке. Я пробовала снимать шкурку, но побоялась дальше снимать, подумала что может сломаться. Всё же это хрупкая игрушка и бывшего употребления. Но, видимо, придется также всё срезать 🥺
У нас Furby Crystal
was good until it got up to clasps, i didnt find it was very descriptive and i ended up breaking it because i couldnt get it open. tried for over 30 minutes to open it
My Furby Boom Crystal doesn't move well and shuts off sometimes I wonder if I can fix it or what should I do?
Most of the Furby Booms have that problem! I had 2 of them with that issue. You need to replace it's motor.

do you know a way to remove the battery pack area?
I have two furbys that can turn on but are stuck in one position and their eyes and beak won’t open, are the batteries dying or is it something else? Thanks for the tutorial also I’m going to try restore my childhood furbys

Hi!! Is sewing the pouch really necessary? Can't we just connect it to the red wire? Just asking!
In my experience I just ripped the wire out and then set it back in once everything dried, no sewing

I love them being creepy, it’s my favourite part about them
