Totally agree that this should have been a Partycade or even a countercade. I am still keeping my fingers crossed that they come out with more casino games in those form factors.

I am not sure why everyone is saying “Oh boy, this is the last time they ever send HIM a machine to review.” You gave it a fair amount of praise honestly! As you said, it seems to be a solid concept that wasn’t executed as effectively as it could have been. I guess the smaller screen was the only means to maintain profitability, but yeah, this feels like a $400 product at most. Reviews like this are why this is the only of the mainstream YT Home arcade channels I bother coming back to. I really appreciate it, and hope there are more down the line.
People are saying that simply because A1U has recent history of trying to shut down literally any negative thing anyone has to say about them. They’ve banned people from their Facebook group that literally have said less negative than this review.

The tough love statement is this is a $299 cabinet, even if retailers and a1up lose money, too bad, thats just the reality of the situation. I got my VCS and it updated online, I bet we could get you back up and running pdubs, I think the fix for updating has been improved since you had your issues brother!

I watched this, because it was PDUBS.... if this had been anyone else(well maybe 1 or 2 exceptions)... I likely would not have. That being said... I like this concept. I think they should have done the counter cade style slots they also showed in the leak... those would have been money if they could do those 100 - 200 bucks. This as it is, I think the main screen needs to be bigger. I have played a legit wheel of fortune slot and it was not touch screen. Make it a slot machine, who cares about the cell phone app games.
Hey I been bought mines but I did not know you had to be online to get this so. If they go out of business then I couldn't get the other games. So I will finally have to take out of the box.

I finally sold my wheel of Fortune. Once you open up all the games there’s nothing else to do and they’re all basically iPad games anyway. What would’ve made this 1000 times more fun as if it had the arm to pull without the arm to pull it was very very boring And I sold it for 375 on eBay right before Christmas
Great review PDubs. I agree with your overall sentiment about the cab. I also agree with others that the product is overpriced, the screen is too small, and definitely should have been a partycade at least. None the less, I appreciate the content.
Hey PDubs, my totally unqualified opinion is as follows: I'd rather spend ~65 dollars and get a slot machine game from Amazon that has mechanical parts and physical engagement. I'm not a fan of video slots, so this misses the mark for me. But a pull arm is a must. The screen is definitely too small, and it would have been really sweet if the top wheel was animated for more attraction. But eh, whatever, I suppose this will appeal to a lot of people. All love, no hate, just not for me.
To me it would be entertaining for a day and that's it. Quite frankly, playing slots on FREE where no money can be won is boring as boring can be! I used to work at a casino, before it opened we got to play the games for free to give test runs. By the end of the third day it was excruciatingly painful. So boring. That's why you need to gamble for it to be of interest.
I know a few ladies who wouldn't mind this over losing $$$ at Motorcity Casino LOL It would be cool if this had a few machines to choose from, add Jeopardy & Who wants to be a Millionaire. 1 Game... That blows & the Pull is a Missing Dissapointment
Just got this for my father and got it all set up. I heard you briefly mention mixed up wires. I believe my unit has that as the buttons labeled don’t do what they’re meant to on the games. Mainly the Bet+ and coin in and Bet max buttons. Anything I can do to fix this?
So you earn money while you play, so you can have 50,000 in your wallet and win 100K. When you loses your money whatever you "topped out at" is the score put on the Leaderboard so it would be 100K
This is a lost opportunity for A1UP to get into less traditional stuff. Alot of things need to be changed if they want to release another slot machine. First of all, this needs a bigger screen. At 10.1 inches, the screen is too small. Also, I don't know if it is just on video, but it feels laggish. They should hire a mobile slot games developer. On mobile you can find incredible slot games that are so close to the modern real slot machines. And those games have like hundreds of different slot games in them. They could just port a mobile slot game and this machine would be much much better.

Biggest waste of money I’ve ever seen. Arcade 1up screams sega genesis bankruptcy ideas… junk like this will cause ur business to lose everything. If u can make it to Vegas or most casinos then why would anyone want this? Who wants pretend money? At this point just download the phone game. Casinos have fun games like ghostbusters, metal gear, ect… like a really cool game for casinos but arcade says wheel of grannies is where it’s at

I have to agree with Pdubs. While this is neat it IS horribly overpriced and that 10” screen is ridiculously too small. This is a $250 machine MAX. It really needs a much bigger main screen. Why is it that this company just can’t get anything exactly right ever?
