Love that ACE Driver Made it in there. Looks fantastic. Definitely no space for the big girl but I'm definitely interested in the single or double wheel versions.
This is a very well done multi racer cab. Nice replica of the original and well put together. Super Sprint is still one of the most sought after arcade games and seeing the prices can easily reach 3k (Canadian) for a decent machine, this is really the way to go. You don't have to deal with bad Atari AR audio boards, a difficult to find medium res wells Gardner 19" crt monitor and other issues an old game suffers from. Very nice addition PDubs and as always, thank you for sharing my friend.

I am glad that you said you will be doing a video on using the wheel for non-360 degree wheel games. My only solution to that problem was to make two separate DIY cabs, one for 360's and one for the more modern type 270 degree wheels.
Honestly, that's not a bad idea for the best performance on both types of games, if you pick one wheel over the other the other types of games will see some sacrifice
We're suggesting our Analog 360 wheel controller implementation is a whole new category of racing controller. It was never our intention at the beginning - we just wanted a really good 360 wheel for the great classics - but it's an incredibly enjoyable way to play some of these games once you get the feel for it. It's obviously different than a conventional wheel with FFB, but there is something about drifting games in particular (Wreckfest, Dirt, Hot Shot Racing, Virtua Racing etc.) that breath new life into the enjoyment of the games. It's a whole new experience and challenge, and we think some people might even find it more enjoyable than the conventional wheel - or at least an very fun alternative.
@@PDubsArcadeLoft It was an easier choice to make a few years ago when you could buy gen1 cabs so cheaply that you could just use the cabinet part for a mod and it was still worth the price!
Hmmmm...most likely the camera i don't see anything weird myself. On the next video we will use a capture card and hdmi splitter and capture the screen
Refresh is 60hz on the Unico screens. Our CRT filter effect for the older MAME games has a bit of a ghosting effect (and bevel and other CRT type idiosyncrasies) to better simulate the CRT. We think it's really cool, but PDubs turned it off for some reason 😞 I guess that's why we made the option to turn them on or off...
Happy for you PDubs! This is a tremendous unit and I think a good value for those who can afford. Looking forward thru the other videos ok this from you this week. Also looking forward to reviews for the other less expensive models they are going to make based on this new wheel. 👊🏻😎🕹️

Congrats, Patrick! Definitely looks legit. Of course, for the price, it should! Speaking of which, at the price, this should really be a licensed product. Hey P-Dubs great video! I have a dual cockpit Daytona shell basically that I was trying to make into a multi-racer do you think their kit would be good for that situation I know it's a matter of how to mount the wheels and such and I've already got some computer monitors in there. I've never been able to play a good version of pole position... And I know actual Daytona has feedback and such but for a multi-racer in a cockpit do you think that kit you're talking about would work possibly?
This is really outstanding. I truly hope they recoup their investment. I don't have enough friends that love video games to make it an easy purchase for me, but you never know...

Great looking machine, and especially great if you want this for Super Sprint - looks just like the original. My main concern is this : Will the experience of playing Virtua Racing on this be even remotely similar to my experience of playing an original VR machine. My hunch is that the experience will be disappointedly different because with this SS machine I have to play VR with a 360 degree wheel, whereas I wasn’t using a 360 degree wheel back when I was playing the original.
We added the ability to play Analog (ie. non 360 wheel) games totally as a bonus to add more value to the multicade. It wasn't even part of our original plan when pre-orders opened in June. Arcade purists are getting our 360 Wheel to play 360 wheel games they have no other good options to play, so they might not be interested in the added games. But analog games on a 360 wheel can't be compared to anything else - it's a different way of playing these racing games; we accidentally invented a new type of racing controller. And for Virtua Racing in particular, we think it's a fantastic experience spinning the wheel at just the right speed to caress the corners. We've posted a quick video of it on our TH-cam channel if you want to have a look.

I guess the question of the day is how does one get the wife to assist if wife wants to have nothing to do with the arcade and thinks they are baby toys?
@@PDubsArcadeLoft Then you’ve got an awesome wife my friend and that’s all there is to say as those things are expected of me for just being allowed to come home lol.
Your wheel Sensitivity is definitely way too high. In order to make turns on Supersprint, you need to spin the wheel as fast as you can... let go of it (Free-Wheel), and allow it to spin maybe 3 to 5 full rotations, before grabbing the wheel again. Sega's "Turbo" , is similar. Neither are supposed to move the car with so little turning of the wheel. The required fast steering and fast "free-spinning", greatly adds to the challenge, and fun, of these games.
For the 360 wheel games, we're mapping the wheel spin as best we know to the arcade original. But that can be tricky to know - for instance, what is the proper Super Sprint rotation? We always thought it was one wheel rotation = one car spin on screen. However, that is way too twitchy for most casual users, so we have an option to essentially drop that in half, ie. two wheel turns to spin the car. Much easier for most people to play. But it's certainly not 4 or 5 wheel spins. Some game spin rates are documented, but many are not, so we're looking for real world feedback and we can address that with online updates if necessary.
@@BuyStuffArcades Its been some years since I played on a real machine... but I always remember Free-Spinning the wheel, while playing it. I believe the number of spins to pull off turns, depends on how FAST your car is driving. Basically, your tires are slipping at higher speeds.. and so requires more wheel turning to complete the turn. At slower speeds, your wheels dont slip, so you dont have to turn the wheel as much. Of course, once you know the wheel-degrees per car rotation (statically).. you shouldnt have know anything more than that... as thats all program controlled. It would be best to use Arcade Forums, and or go to a massive retro-arcade, and get some actual footage. The full-size Super Sprint Multicade is the Cadillac show piece for our new 360 Wheel Controller that we'll be offering in a variety of configurations and form factors for many different budget ranges. We never intended it to be anything other than a limited run product. However, pre-orders sold out in 12 hours and we get requests about them almost every single day, so we'll likely do another run at some point in the future. Apparently there are a lot of people that love Super Sprint and it's unique shape as much as we do! We're very glad that our homage is appreciated - it has turned out much better than we could have imagined.
@@BuyStuffArcades How many units were available for pre-order? I went to place an order today, the same day as this video posted, and the pre-orders are all sold out. 8-(
@@Wizard92595 Pre-orders were in June actually. They sold out in 12 hours. The last portion of this video was my greatest fear. It looks like a struggle to play Super Sprint. You should be able to spin those wheels super fast and make every turn. It looks like you’re being careful here. I hope I’m wrong. Thanks for the review. This machine is a pass for me.
Just because he didn't whip the wheel around, doesn't mean you can't 🙂 Check our TH-cam if you want to see some "proper" Super Sprint gameplay! If there is one thing we're 100% confident in, it's the robustness of our 360 wheel systems - they are superior to the OG equipment in every way.

It's for people who wanna get nuts, you wanna get nuts?
@@BuyStuffArcadesI hope you do a second run next year. Looks amazing.
@@BuyStuffArcades How many units were available for pre-order? I went to place an order today, the same day as this video posted, and the pre-orders are all sold out. 8-(
@@Wizard92595 Pre-orders were in June actually. They sold out in 12 hours. We will give lots of advance notice before our next batch is made available - make sure you’re signed up for our website newsletter and maybe PDubs will let his community know as well. It will be in the new year at some point.
The last portion of this video was my greatest fear. It looks like a struggle to play Super Sprint. You should be able to spin those wheels super fast and make every turn. It looks like you’re being careful here. I hope I’m wrong. Thanks for the review. This machine is a pass for me.
@@khatru311 lol or maybe I suck at super sprint? 👌
@@PDubsArcadeLoft I would love to see a video of you spinning the wheel and just watching the car spin on the road.
@@BuyStuffArcades I own a real Super Sprint but would love to have your machine as an option if it works like the original.
@@khatru311 lol I'm on it!
