If Nintendo really wants to erase the Wii U from existence they need to port this game for the Switch, it's the only one remaining, and the 3D World mode in SMM 2 doesn't count.

I love Super Mario 3D world! You can actually play as boys and girls, and the plot is very nice, rather than just another “bowser kidnaps peach and Mario has to get her back” plot

I absolutely LOVE the way Rosalina says "wonderful"
I know a lot of people already completed it way before me, but I was only 8 or 9 years old but only me, my step dad, my friends all completed it at different times with me and completed it with al characters, all golden flags and viola, it took us 3 months to complete it and we finally did, I’ll never forget that awesome experience.
This is such a great game. Right now, me and my cousins are trying to complete the game as we throw eachother off ledges

@MarioMaster 412 there is no need to complete every level with every character, I just unlocked the final level "only" by collecting every star/stamp/topflag. Today I didn't manage to beat that level, it's very difficult if you don't have a friend to help you
I got to the champion world (can’t remember what it’s called since I haven’t played in like 5 to 6 months), got to like the third or fourth level and just gave up. Trying to set back up my wiiU but I think I lost some of the chords 😆

the minigame theme is the select character song from super mario bros 2 and mount must dash is based off of the mario circuit levels from super mario kart which the background shows real good and has the old school look perfectly

I’m pretty sure the music in The Legends Of Zelda Easter egg was re-used for the Mummy-Me Maze Forever In Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker. I’m also pretty sure that the music on the train full of coins is from the retro levels in Super Mario 3D Land.

I could literally only make it as far as the boost pads. I always failed at that part. And lucky me, I find out it’s the last part, so now I’m never gonna beat the game.

Julius Kulla I’d say Mario Odyssey is a more direct parallel, especially considering the other 3D Mario games that this appears to draw more from.
@@sebastianwolf3236 I'd say 3D World ties into the Galaxy series more, with Rosalina and Lumas and Galaxy enemies. Plus, more linearity. If it had gravitation fields, I'd definitely accept it as a Galaxy 3. Or at least a kind of Galaxy spin-off.

You forgot this: In the Mario Maker 2 3D World style,
When you defeat the castle levels, There is a tune that plays. In 3D land, When you defeat the final secret level, that tune plays.
It also plays when you beat a castle/tank level in 3D world
