In NSMBU Deluxe, if you hold down the left stick at the title screen for three seconds and press L+R, it's reverts to the original spin jump controls (aka deactivates the spin via the B button).
@@Gamer_pro19 In the original NSMBU, pressing the B button in mid-air did not cause Mario to spin. In other words, if the above mentioned cheat code is activated, the "spin via the B button" is disabled.
Also in super Mario sunshine, Mario can loose his hat and that makes him loose health also the flying things with the blue shorts wears it til you attack.
