When the shutdown first started, many of my coworkers complained about not having a gym. In my head, I relished it and said "shut up and Burpee up. Or chin up." I used the rocks around my house. I didn't let anything get in the way of moving.
keep moving!
Can’t wait to get a copy of this. Thank you Joe a true role model for us all. And thank you Spartan for all the amazing work and toughness.
Great! Let us know what you think of the book.
Saw Joe on Joe Rogan. This guys story is amazing. I bought the book, great book, great messages!
Awesome, let us know if you like it.
@@TheHardWayJDS I loved it. I’m a “couch” person working myself back to “active” person. This is my new bible.
I've been way too long away from a Spartan Lifestyle, don't even know if I have ever really been there. Maybe it's time to restart watching/listening to the Spartan podcast. This video, and very possibly the whole book, is surely a good incentive to do that. Thanks as always for the needed push.
You got this!
Superb
I have zero social media other than TH-cam. So it takes me along time to watch or listen to stuff.
I actually never paid attention to anything Spartan until the pandemic. It helped alot! I also really appreciate the opening saying, "kids haven't changed, we have". Makes me really own my shit with my kids and Soldiers.
Great lesson! ...keep up the great-work!!!
Thanks for listening
Gracias por el contenido estimados.
Yes, to a point - I'm slightly concerned by the testosterone in this - there's more to resilience than just "toughing up". I prefer the MENRES approach. - there are vids on it on YT.
Interesting. Thanks for your thoughts on this.
I like the distinction of being relentless, not merciless. Discipline with compassion.
@@toddwentworth2008 great observation
I’m listening to what you are saying.
My question is can a person get stuck in and catch up at a point in time at an age that may not be ideal
It's NEVER too late.

Hello Joe,
Everything presented has made sense.
Do you have any guidance regarding coming back from an extremely dark place.
I walked into horrendous life situations, and broke down mentally and physically because of this.
I don’t know quite how to recover, or direction from here.
