Love the comparison and had a question on the weight to size ratio. I was seeing on the custom gear website a base stand weight difference of 7.5lb to 8.1lb, so more of a .6lb and not a 1.5lb difference even with the larger platform and seat. Thoughts on the weight discrepancy? Thanks again on the great content.
Seems like with medium seat the weight saving shrinks to 0.6lbs. And now 1.0 has all the new features of .75 on it too. That considering would you still go for .75 if you didn't have either?
Now xop has the cold world and retro grade both under 8 pounds water jetted they hold more weight and have them all in the us. Also the seat stays up like the lwcg stands. And they are much cheaper in price
Do you by chance yet have the new LWCG mini sticks with the integrated machined versa button? If so, does the buckleless method work with that integrated button?
6 3 I might I am like 6.1 - if u stand more than sit it’s not that big of a deal but I’d hate for you to be uncoftable in stand saying wish I would have bought 22” post
The beast stand doesn’t have tread on it - the seat doesn’t lock into place. The sticks are not integrated into the packability. Is there a bow holder ? Has less platform adjustability up and down . It’s 50$ bucks more too and seems to have less features
@@thewhitetailexperience6055 Byron, you're a good guy. But seeing 20 people regurgitate the same beast-bashing talking points across social media makes it look like Cody sent an email to all of his cronies with a canned response. I hate this industry and what its done.
@@thewhitetailexperience6055 let’s not pretend like everyone isn’t modifying their stands with bow holders and other gizmos for stick transport. LWCG makes a lot of products for their stand and for their sticks but isn’t included with the initial purchase. They’re money grab products. The seat locks in just fine with a $2 piece of webbing. And what purpose does traction serve for sitting down? That’s a saddle guy conversation to be had. We can talk about the antler bracket if you want though. Or the superior customer service. I’ll give an extra $50 to the little guy who’s willing to write me a personal email before I give a nickel to a millionaire looking for another sale.
@@marchuffman8266 In fairness, all of his points are valid. I think both are very good stands and both have a place for the mobile guy. The custom gear does have a few more features though if we are honest. Small things. But they are things that some guys like. He isn't bashing the beast stand. Just has a few less features, which is completely okay. I don't see many folks with a beast stand complaining. I like them both myself. And would be glad to have either.
I have had both. Hold zero affiliation to either company. The only benefit the beast has over the .75 in my opinion is weight. Cushion it comes with sucks. Back pack straps suck. The cam strap in mine had loops so big I could put my entire hand through them. It didn't cam the best. But I felt it was super light and the right size. .75 is a bit heavier but not enough for me to care. It cams better. Size is great. Cushion is good. Price is better. And the little tie downs are a really nice touch
I'm sticking with my 1.0 for at least one more season. I just don't see enough reason to change. Thanks for the review.
It’s a tried to true stand no wrong answers here
Great comparison! gonna be a great season for you!
Great review! Helped me make a decision!

I think my get 1 stand is just under 9 so that could be why

I have mainly gone to the Xop cold world as my go to stand 7.5 and wider and easier to hang

I’ll be doing a video for this

I’m 6’3, and I was wondering if I should go with the 22” post over the 20” post, what’s your opinion?

Do you feel like there is a lot more room in the 1.0? I'm really 50/50 here. Also is the weight difference noticeable?
What’s your thoughts on the .05
I have the .5 and love it. 5.7lbs. Enough for me.
I’ll buy your 1.0!
Hahaha no I am keeping it for sure
What’s the difference in the platform size?
1.0 is 3 inch wider
Beast stand VS .75 Lone wolf??
Is one pound worth 600 dollars
First
Beast stand far superior
