Every year my garden gets bigger and my soul feels more full. I find that the bigger my garden gets the smaller my materialistic wants become.
Wonderful sounds like a good path to be on 😁

I don't think I've ever seen a more bountiful garden ever. It's absolutely astonishing and I have been watching these types of videos for yrs and yrs! Re rodents: I understand it must be frustrating for you but I would advise sharing with them a little. They too need to eat and before we set up our homes and gardens and food forests, the land belonged to wildlife. I am thrilled when some of my fruit goes to the birds; less (much less) thrilled about snail and slug damage but you have SUCH abundance that it really is a beautiful thing in my opinion to share in it with other critters.
Wow thank you 🙏🏼 😊 that means a lot.
Yeah I agree with you about the wild life~thanks for expressing that- appreciated.
I don’t really mind the squirrels 🐿️and chipmunks and I plant sunflowers for the birds every year a few mice and voles I don’t mind…but sharing with 20 rats that have moved into my home and chomping at almost every crop is a different story lol also they definitely weren’t here until I provided a tasty compost pile and building to breed in lol first year I’ve had a serious rat problem.
Or
Perhaps I just have a bird of pray and cat deficiency haha.
I had many baby snake on the property this year so that may balance out the mice next year.
There’s enough fertility on the property now that much life is coming in to enjoy~
This is the first time I visit your channel. You have a wonderful garden. I like it very much. Thanks for your showing.
Thanks for your comment!
😊
Welcome to the channel
I know you can't consume all that so I hope there are some preservation videos in the making. This is my first time watching. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Thanks so much !
Welcome to the Channel
I have a couple; check play list ‘cooking and preserving’
I’d like to do more although it’s seems like I don’t get as many views on that subject so I tend to hold off.
But I’ve been asked a few times now for sure.
Thanks for asking I’d like to do more !
A family could eat it all! In a short amount of time
@@homesteaderfiftywmartha603 agree
He prob can some use some for seeds and some for family n friends
That's a lot of food for one person.
All the "volunteer" crops are just delightful.
Looks like your self-watering barrels have proved quite successful. LOVED the late melons. Juniper stole the show with that cantaloupe!
Thank you for sharing --- inspiring!
I'll never figure out how you accomplish so much!
Yeah the volunteer root crops were new for me this year. It’s fun to see things grow on their own.
She did ! Juniper got the the better melon 🍈 out of the ripe ones 😄
Thanks for engaging Margaret.
I don’t usually come on videos but this video is very nice. Keep it up!
😉 well thanks for taking the time. I’m delighted that you enjoyed the show 🌀

Spectacular! I too am having a banner squash year. My fingers are crossed that all of my winter squash varieties will get mature before the "end times" (for vines that it.) I have been valiantly attempting to find creative zucchini uses, but between you and me, I am secretly wishing for a quick demise. For now, they keep producing, I keep picking. Overall, I feel like have way more successes than failures, so I am grateful. Already thinking about next year and where I will expand. Happy September!
Banner’ nice expression! Haha yeah the zucchini…drying them into flour can be a good use-after the honeymoon stage lol
Yeah this time of year I have thoughts about how I’ll change some things/expand next year too.
Happy September !
Love your gardens/food forest. If you put in owl habitat it keeps the rodents down naturally
If only the squirrels and birds ate the whole fruit instead of a few bites here and a few bites there. I don’t mind sharing but they could be more considerate. 😉. The 3 headed cabbage reminds me of Audrey 2 in Little Shop of Horrors. BEWARE! What a marvelously abundant harvest. Your hard work has paid off handsomely.
Yeah I agree haha
Thanks kindly for the support by commenting.
❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️ So much fun and fruitful is your land. Epic 😊

😊
Im new subscriber I like to see more of your garden.
Thank you and welcome to the channel 😊
Is an ideal garden I like it
Sweet thanks !
It's always fun to grow really big vegetables but the fact is that you get more nutrition out of them when they're smaller.
Yes I think so too.
The real big produce is fun and sometimes nice for abundance but nutrient density is the real abundance, like you say 😜
I’d also say that highly active heathy living soil will probably be the strongest factor in terms of nutrient density of a fruit/veg/leaf
~Gratitude
Amazing
Very nice videos we are getting to see. You keep making us new videos like this. We are waiting. Great
Thanks so much for expressing

@@grantsilzer4460 May the abundance be with you
❤❤❤
the snake part got me ......
Me too😮
Your country is excellent, and you have grown a lot of fruit, which is my wish. I have a small garden, but my country is very sunny, so I can't produce as many varieties as you. I love your garden; please visit mine.
😍😍😍😍
Thanks for the comment !💚
Wishing you abundance !
Wow your celery are big or huge.
Thanks, yeah some did pretty well this last season.
Muito alimento incrível
Thanks for commenting 💚😎
Maybe you could go to the SPCA and get a couple of feral cats to hunt your garden. Black cats in particular are great hunters. Usually the feral cats are placed without charge
Haha yeah not a bad idea they’ll fight with my cat tho prob. I’ve got a black one already. He’s pretty good at getting mice. He got a couple young rats too but in general he’s scared of the rats
Wow, amazing harvest! Where do you get your onion seeds?
Thanks !
My onion seed was from a few suppliers actually, just where ever I could find the varieties I wanted.
William Dam seeds, West Coast seed, and I think another as well…I wouldn’t recommend those companies necessarily.
These are the open pollinated
‘long day’ varieties I grow:
Rossa D’inverno-is working out really well for me.
Rossa Di Milano
Red of Florence
Kelsae
đàn ông bên nước ngoài thật đáng yêu, họ chăm chỉ, chân thật
Thanks for the complement 😊
~Wishing you joy and abundance
First time visiting your channel. Absolutely amazing! Don’t know how you do it all. What zone are you in? How much “space” do you have to accomplish this feat of gardening. I’m in my third year as a backyard gardener in Central Florida. 😊
Welcome to the channel and thank you for the kind words 🌀🙏🏼😄
3+ acres of mountain side.
I’m in zone 5a-b
Florida 😎
I use to travel there to see my grandparents.

BEST OF BEST OF ALL IS ROMS TOMATO IT TAKE LIST OF GREEN TOMATOESAND TAMALOES EVEN CHERRY TO SUNNY MORNING
Is that snake will have a venum?how can you handle the snake in tour yard?isn't scared?
It’s just a Gardener Snake 🐍 we call them. They are not poisonous. I’ve held many as a kid 😁 many baby snakes on the property this year-it’s a good sign-hopefully they will help balance out the rodents that have also become more prolific this year.
Do you sell or share ? Because I do not k or where you are putting it all!!( root cellar- fermenting?)
Lol 😂 gave a few boxes to neighbours over the summer. And family is in the area.
But yeah preserve lots, ferment, can, freeze etc. it’s a bit of a gong show in terms of having adequate storage; produce everywhere haha.
Def need to build a root cellar, so much other building to complete before that happens though.
Did I spot a snake @1248? right after you picked the cucumbers? Hopefully, that will take care of the rodent issue.
Yes, I saw a number of young gardener snakes last year. I hoping they will be around more now.
😊
How big is the land.
3.3 acres
Do you have rat snakes in your area? I gave up fighting pests and built little reptile Happytats to attract predators. Now I have an army of Anoles and have even spotted a couple of non-venomous snakes and they eat the pests ❤
Awe yes good idea !
I’m hoping there will be more snakes this year, as of last year, I saw many baby ones.
Thanks for commenting 😄
Do you eat all those harvest? That's a lot for one person.
I share 🙏🏼😁💚🫐
And family is in the area.
But I do eat a lot I’m pretty big, we’ll tall anyway hehe 😜
How many are you feeding? Selling or sharing?
A couple and family and friend when there’s overload but lots gets stored too :)
Листву с перца не выкидывайте, отварить листья слегка, острый перкц, соль потом сметана, к картошке ооооочень вкусно
