I’ve been here about 20 years and have had a few garden beds here and there (I’ve been gardening most of my life actually) but the last 7-8 years is the result of much of the garden you see now. Most of my fruit trees/food forest are 5 years.
What a harvest! We just kicking off here in New Zealand, busy busy in the garden. 😎

Good morning, thanks for the little garden lift this morning. I needed that. It's funny to see that I had some very similar results as you, with a couple of exceptions. I have so many squashes, potatoes and tomatoes in my laundry room, it's hard to do laundry. What a squash year! My sunflowers were also pokey and are looking so pretty right now. The melons! I know!! Not huge but tasty. I did end up with a ton of amaranth and while they are a bit of a pain in the butt to process, I have a couple of varieties I have never grown before, so I will. Sadly, the moles got my sweet potatoes, grrrrr. I did have great top growth and pretty flowers so I am still inspired to try again next year. I had a really good fruit year too. All in all in all, I am pretty pleased. Happy fall!

Oh the amaranth work out for you right on. My first time growing amaranth-I only got a couple not that big ether.

Well it looks like butternut squash is going to be in every meal from now until next summer lol

Hahaha yep !! Can only handle eating it couple times a week but u do love squash 😎juniper my dog also eats squash mixed into her meat.
I actually just cooked a couple from last year that were still good 😊

How I wish I can grow all the varieties of berries and fruits trees which is so hard to get out here wishing upon the fair to be delivered it all the way to India 😂 and not to mention love the rose hydrangeas

Do you do all this by yourself? I have to watch the video over and over just to glean. What a blessing to have so much space. New sub. I’m new to your channel. I love the food forest harvest/tours. Do you eat all of this food, store, share, have a farmer’s market table? I’m so interested because your harvests are bountiful. I have a small 5 raised bed urban garden and we get enough tomatoes and okra to share.

I share with family and give a couple boxes to friends and neighbours throughout the growing season I also preserve and store lots to last the year.
