I have a smaller garden than yours, and this past summer it went almost completely to weeds and looked just horrible as I had to care for my mother who was sick with cancer. I was not really sorry about the garden at the time, because I was doing exactly what I needed to be doing. Watching you plant your corn and squash made me think of the three sisters method. Corn squash and beans all planted together. Corn provided support for the beans, the beans added nutrients to the soil and the squash shaded out weeds. It's a native American tradition. Those three were their main source of food throughout year.

That was beautiful. Your video just popped up randomly in my recommended. Such a beautiful, simple video. Completely different than what you normally see (or at least what I normally see) on youtube. No clickbait, no "algorithm hacks", not even a single word said. Just beautiful, real footage and some captions with some calming music and nature sounds layered over. Amazing. Quite literally was a breath of fresh air.

We used to have our own garden of both vegetables and flowers years ago but sadly now there is nothing left as there is no one to take care of even the house let alone our gardens, it was just left barren and recently this year a new house was added there. We have a new properly just like the size of yours and probably we'll settle there after 5 more years. Everytime I watch your videos I just add new things of what I'll do there😄 It's just really beautiful and fun having own garden☺☺☺

The idea of “glorying living of the land” is interesting. I think a country life in Sweden or Germany where you are might look glamorous even when not intended to! I’ve noticed that quite shockingly moving to New Zealand and hearing from my friends in the US.
My family were and are (some of them) farmers, living in a very similar but Scandinavian looking house as you do. They all have Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees in agriculture or farming techniques, or engineering (uni is free). With free healthcare and also used to be free dental care they did not have the same tough life as many farmers along the world. So I mean to say, I don’t think you’re glorifying or that it looks super glamorous. I think it just looks like a different part of the world 🌎 Thank you for your beautiful videos ❤
