On your answer to the question: “Why did Jesus call Mary woman?”…I must respectfully disagree. As a life long Catholic and a soldier in the Marian Army, I have always been told that Jesus was calling his blessed mother, “Sinless One” when he called her woman. Eve did not receive her name until immediately after eating of the tree of knowledge. Prior to that she (Eve) was referred to as woman 8 times. At La Salette, Our Lady was asked her name by Saint Bernadette, her reply, “I am the Immaculate Conception”. Jesus was honoring his mother and identifying her as the Immaculate One.

@@mikecastelluccio7072 Just as Water turned into wine at the wedding, the wine will turn into His Blood at another wedding feast. I strongly believe that the wedding at Cana foreshadowed the magnificent wedding of the Lamb mentioned in Revelation 17. Furthermore, it is crucial to emphasize that the wedding feast is an essential belief that all Christians should embrace. The holy Eucharist!

@@evanzanyswer6295 Actually, Evan, the wine turns into the blood of Jesus Christ at each and every Catholic Mass. If at all possible, go to Mass daily just as Our Lord instructed us in the one and only prayer that he taught us. This is what he meant when He said, give us this day our daily (Luke 11:3) super substantial (Matthew 6:11) bread” in The Lord’s Prayer. Obviously, this is meant to signify the Holy Eucharist.

It also shows another prophetic message of Christ.
The bridegroom and the bride is the Church and Christ.
The church of the time was empty. It was not fulfilled.
The wedding (the church of the day) had finished all the wine (Grace based on sacrifice) that it had. It was to be humiliated.
It was only when Jesus became the "best wine" (blood of the the new testament) at the "end of the celebration" (Passion) that the church was fulfilled.
His hour (Passion, to shed the blood/wine) had not yet come.

But what did Jesus had against Mary what did she do to deserve to be rebuked by Him? What would be the reason for anyone even to say that Jesus rebuked her it does not make any sense. I think for Jesus to call Mary woman meant something else. It was to show He has separate Himself from her and now He does not considering her to be His mother any more but His future bride. That is why her role has change from a mother to a bride.

    • @missflipz

Jesus also called many females ‘Woman’ in his ministry eg The Woman at the Well, The Woman caught in Adultery & others…
      Matthew 15: 28, Luke 13: 12, John 4: 21, John 8:10, John 20: 15
      Matthew 12:48-50 (NIV)
He replied to him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?” Pointing to his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers. For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.”
I loved the connection with the 6 jars and sabbath, day of rest.
Jesus knew this would be asked of him and his reply, I believe, was to show that when he said ‘his hour had not come’ meant the hour of Wine being served at the eternal Feast with his Bride the church and the final eternal wedding. And the shedding of his blood for his bride.
I didn’t equate it to mean the hour of his miracles.
the water the Jews used for purification was replaced with the blood of Christ, the true purification of the New Covenant, so that part I understand but I felt everything said is for our benefit. To be taught this was the only way we can be purified. By his blood, (wine)
I’d made a comment about this a couple of days ago on one of these posts too.
It’s fascinating hearing many teachings and the grace of God allowing us to test the spirits to see if we too are in agreement.
Sam’s teachings are by far the best I’ve come across on TH-cam and I search many!!! I also love Author Tim Cohen.. he too is mindblowing

@@JamesSliger-k1i we have a Missal to follow of course. We don't need to bring the Bible. That would be odd. if you attend Mass every Sunday for 3yrs you would have read the Bible. It's been read to me over 10x. However I took my faith and salvation for granted as a cradle Catholic so I did a lot of day dreaming in mass. It is my failing. My formal religious learning ended when i was 12. My parents were very working class immigrants with limited schooling and they grew up poor and attended church pre Vatican Ii in their youth. Growung up I attend mass in another language so sometimes the Homily goes over my head, Catholics go Church to adore celebrate and participate in Christ death and resurrection. The priest interpretation of the Bible and hour long sermon is not why we go to church. It is Christ's living presence in the Eucharist is why we go. We don't require a theological degree.

Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; forget also thine own people, and thy father's house; So shall the KING GREATLY DESIRE THY BEAUTY: for HE IS THY LORD; and worship thou him (only). And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift (Lk. 1:28); even the rich among the people shall ENTREAT THY FAVOUR (intercession). Yes, it’s definitive evidential support for that doctrine. Also, note that the servants didn’t stop and ask for Mary’s intercession. She was watching. She noticed their need because she always keeps her eyes on her children. That’s how attentive a mother she is to us. When Jesus was dying on the Cross, he said “to his beloved disciple“ (we are his beloved disciples), “ behold your mother”. With his dying breath, Jesus gave his mother to us. And what did the “beloved disciple” do? He took her into his home.

“16. The Lord give mercy to the house of Onesiphorus: because he hath often refreshed me and hath not been ashamed of my chain: 17. But when he was come to Rome, he carefully sought me and found me. 18. The Lord grant unto him to find mercy of the Lord in that day. The Virgin Mary is not included among siners.
Salvation History teaches that, beginning with just after the Fall of Adam and Eve, God promised not to abandon mankind, but that He would send them a new Adam and a new Eve:
      Genesis 3:15
      15. I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; They will strike at your head,
while you strike at their heel.
In other words, "enmity" means the devil could have No Power over Mary at any point in her life.
She was specifically created, according to the Greek manuscript:
      Luke 1:28
      (Greek manuscript)
      28. και εισελθων ο αγγελος προς αυτην ειπεν χαιρε κεχαριτωμενη ο κυριος μετα σου ευλογημενη συ εν γυναιξιν
      Translation:
      Luke 1:28.
      28. And upon entering, the Angel said to her: "Hail, full of grace. The Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women."
Such greeting reveals fullness of grace had been applied to the Virgin Mary the moment she was conceived.
It couldn't be any other way, since the future Son of God, conceived in her womb, could not inherit sin from a "sinful" woman.
Therefore, the Virgin Mary is "Forever at all times full of grace".
      May God bless your discernment.

I have no idea what you are going on about with this weird Protestants think Mary was in sin here. You don’t have to be in sin to be rebuked. He didn’t tell her to repent. Nor does Mary need to be sinless for Jesus to honor her request.
It honestly feels like you are trying to read traditions and troubles of men into these verses. Mary knew who her son would be before he was born. It would make sense for her to ask things of him. It also makes sense for Jesus, who was perfect in the law, to honor his mother. As long as it isn’t in direct opposition to the will of his father Jesus would honor this request.
This has nothing to do with Mary being perfect or sinless, but just the mother of Jesus and Jesus being perfect. I don’t get half of what you are talking about here.

Yeshua is not alone in the interceding, because you are also called to intercede for others.

He still can't prove anywhere in scripture where we are to pray to Mary or kneel before her statues . This guy is full of pride, the exact opposite of Jesus Christ.

The thought is in scripture. You just refuse it.
Do you follow what the Holy Spirit reveals? Also, Can you also point out where in scripture that it contains all Jesus teachings?

@@jeazurlantes Why would you need intercession of Mary? Is our Lord Jesus intercession not enough? Lord never teaches to pray to Mary or ask her for intercession. Holy Spirit in us is Spirit of Christ, Spirit of God, and intercedes for us. Holy Spirit is not spirit of Mary. Do you understand that having Holy Spirit means having Jesus Christ? Think about that, meditate upon that taught, and ask, why would I need intercession of Mary if I have Jesus? At wedding, DESCIPLES did not needed intercession of Mary, because they were with Jesus and Jesus was with them. Think about that. God bless you! Lord Jesus be with you!

He's the Mediator and Intercessor from us to the Father, but we, all the Angels and the Saints especially Mother Mary are called to intercede for each other. Don't confuse the grapes too much.
