Forget trades at this point. I would even barely touch free agency, although we need to sign Mitchell as a top priority. This next season we need to test our young team. We need to find out what they are made of now so if any of it doesn’t work then we can workout a deal while they are still fresh. We’ll call it foresight! This should be the starting line-up next season.
    PG - Immanuel Quickley
    SG - Quintin Grimes
    SF - RJ Barrett
    PF - Obi Topin
    C - Mitchell Robinson
We tried new players already. When the Knicks got rid of Payton and replaced him with Walker, it just showed us that the chemistry wasn’t there. And chemistry is one of the main ingredients for a balanced team. The only time we should be making a big play at free agency is when the team is ready for that next big step. Constant trading just to bring new players in will never work. As a matter of fact it hasn’t worked at all in the past 20 plus years and that destroys our cap options. We need to develop young while we are still a young team.
