I love our LSx's here in the states. 4.8,5.3,6.0, irons, aluminums everywhere! at EVERY junk yard! But it's sad we dont have hardly any RBs or 2js, only crappy well used and "picked over" imported motors. I have NEVER seen one but Maybe there are a few barra's here, possibly more (depending on if AL and benny are here for drag week) lol Anyways I love my american V8s but damn I love the 90-00s turbo cars that the rest of the whole get to enjoy. Early 2000s you used to be able to get gtrs without no motors because people were pulling them for swaps, as soon as this came out I wanted to put a barra in one

Depends. The tuner community is strange. 99% of your driving is to and from your job. That 1% is key though because if you're more of a circuit guy then massive horsepower isn't needed and you can go milder on the turbo upgrade. If drag racing/roll racing is your thing, there is no such thing as too much power, especially with modern tire technology and electronic, programmable fuel injection even with factory ECU's. Problem with the RB as documented on Andrew's channel Motive DVD/TV is beyond a certain point you have to really think about the driveline (trans, transaxle, rear end, etc). RB blocks like to crack with hard launches and big power. Since the Barra is RWD drive in this application, more tweaking of the ECU and suspension is call here.
Great call, people especially the tuner community are very reluctant to add weight. The idea is to strategically add weight that helps performance not hurt. Dodge realized this when testing one of the final pre-production Hellcat Challengers. They kept adding weight to the boot/trunk until the car stop spinning the tires on the hit at the drag strip. That explains why the majority of Hellcat owners are no were near 11.3 with a stock car because they won't add weight to keep the tires from spinning. The car has an abundance of power adding a few hundred pounds won't make much difference. Considering that motorsport especially drag racing has many shall we say rotund people in it, they add weight so what's the big deal?
My business partner runs BA ute with an atomic performance 698 built motor. Full built head with standard cams (Street car) Only barra I've heard that doesn't sound like arse 🤔
I have a barra with 3582 turbo and love it but that one looks just stupid to drive, wouldn't even be fun, very short powerband and too much power and zero traction.

Traction limited may need 100kgs of water in the boot to hold that rear down.
