- I spent 88 hours running LK 5000 times in D2R to celebrate hitting 5 thousand subscribers!
Details:
- Single Player, players 8 difficulty
- Each run I was popping the 6 super chests and 2 weapon racks, for ~4000 of the 5000 runs I was also popping an additional normal chest and skeleton
- Average run time was 1 minute and 3 seconds (my computer has long loading times)
- Not that it matters too much with these runs, but my magic find was between 450-480%

Hey man! To make your runs faster, after u run LK, portal to act 4, then save and exit. Then just use the waypoint portal straight to Lk. Saves time from walking from the docks to the Waypoint
@@robbiejones5676 This is a great tip! Unfortunately for me my computers loading times in and out of areas meant that it was still marginally faster for me to walk, even without a harmony bow on switch 😅
Putting some grind on random popables in LK can really pay a lot
@@RegularSchmuck MrLlamaSC has a video about fixing load times. Perhaps you've seen it already but if you haven't it could fix this issue for you, it did for me.

A few days ago, I was in one of the tal rasha's tomb on hell difficulty, on my way to kill Duriel, and I saw a Ber rune laying on the floor. I was like "....what!!!!" and got the biggest smile on my face, as if I had just won the lottery. Still can barely believe it now, days later.

I never farmed this, it was always to tedious to open all the chests. Can't wait for 10k baal runs or whatever nutty thing you come up with.

Awesome drops man, as for the loot filter I agree they def need one. If you have trouble with the ones hiding you can press F or whatever you have your zoom set to to see the items a bit easier
You inspire me to grind! Your euphoria when finding items is infectious. BTW, its faster to take the way point to act 4, so you can load into pandemonium fortress. That way you can telekinesis the WP instead of having to run all the way from the docks
I agree but only if you have good load times otherwise running tends to edge it out
infinity is such a literal game changer. makes everything so much easier
I have enigma and the other major runewords (not crazy ones like last wish though) and i just need infinity, only need about 20 ists more worth of runes to cube it up. Finding the ethereal 4 socket thresher or great poleaxe or cryptic axe is as hard as finding a very high rune.
It’s very nice to see how the author admires even conventionally small runes; unfortunately, having found a ber, I cannot experience such delight

if you convert the gul runes into vex your runs drop about 1 high rune every 312 runs, which is very good

what I can say from experience run LK on battlenet in a full party and pop everything!
I mean everything PPL miss so much good loot from not popping everything

Been doing this for the past week. Found 2 ber, 3 vex, ohm, 5 pul, 3 Gul, some lem, ist, fal and Mal. Also, from skeletons and logs- durials, unique eldritch, nature's peace and a bunch of great charms.

Why p8? Are super chests affected by player count on D2R?
There's a technical reason why you can find redundant similar loot in batches on single player with the same map. This was something that was tested extensively in the LoD days. It's all about the seed. Every action you make in map contributes to the seed. The TLDR of it is that if you do this stuff enough it becomes easier for you to slip into a "pattern" of making the exact same movements (like Teleporting the same number of times, in the same direction), to to same chest or set of chests and then popping them taking the same route to get to the same place will result in the same basic loot. So often time when people do these long enough on the same map they will either bust out, or get many of the same results. Usually people un aware of this will change slightly something on the path and it will change the drop. So when you keep getting the same loot you don't want or if you keep getting no rune drops in a stretch just change the map or change the way you approach the chests. 😏

Yes in all cases hell lower kurast is better EXCEPT when looking for Lo runes only. Generally though 7 is better as it gives the highest average chance of a high rune rather than 5 which while slightly higher for Lo is worse for everything else. Hope that helps

if you change your drop loot option to resurrected drops will be more tidy and not that much spreaded and easier to see for Lk runs
It's good to know I'm not the only person who gets excited for a moment by things an Ith run. I swear my brain says Ist every time.... Or every single unique ancient armor I find might -finally- be Tyrael's... I think I'm finally getting past that one. Maybe.
Actually that -53 to enemy light res is good for nova sorc because people like to wield infinity with her so that’s still good
Doesn't make sense with a cryptic axe, due to the high dexterity and strength requirements. That's why you use a scythe for a self wield infinity build.
How can you still be so happy about some runes. A Mal, Ist and Gul are no midrunes to me🥹🥹. Thx for yor efforts. My wife forbids me to play D2R… so your vids are the last remaining fun I can have🥹

So, SP maps i'm 99% sure are seeded to have certain drops over others. EVERY gul rune came from the same chest. I have a static map on my sorce for lk and i've found 6 sur runes from the SAME EXACT CHEST within 2 weeks, less than 1k runs but a little over 600. I stopped counting because I've gotten so many
nice mate maybe you could show us 1 full run when you do these challenges, so we can see your gameplay a little as well.
u should run player 7 same drops n mobs lil easyer XD ** also since u running act 3 spawn to waypoint u should use harmony bow for vigor aura on switch help with speed
