Um no one take in the fact that Vikings had rookie cornerbacks an their missing a few d-line that are key to putting pressure on him. Like Danielle hunter who was top 5 in sacks last year an pierce who is sitting out cause he has “asthma”
I feel like something similar happened with Favre when they drafted Rodgers. I feel like it's a smart move though. Draft a promising QB and allow him to develop behind one of the GOATs so that way when the GOAT does retire, you got a good, semi-seasoned QB.

packers were never a rookie #2 receiver away from not being blown out in the nfc championship game. packer fans and roger supporters are stupid. rogers worked with rookie receivers in 2018 and all I heard was complaints about them not understanding the game so rogers couldn't get on the same page with them. drafting a receiver high would have been stupid. they are fine with the guys they are developing.
maybe if rogers doesn't turn the ball over 3 times in the first have of the nfcc game they have a better chance to win.

I'm sure Clark's absence was part of the problem, but I'm hoping those points were mostly because of the prevent-defense.
Slow start most likely for the defense. Remember the Packers offense is so good because Aaron Rodgers is there and he doesn't really need preseason games to warm-up. He's basically going to be at another level the first few weeks than the guys he's playing against until they get into the rhythm like he does so quickly. Kenny Clark is a huge loss for the defense, but I don't think it's indicative of how the Packers defense performs when he's actually off the field. However it's just a groin injury so I expect him back next week vs. the Lions. I called this a win for the Packers from day 1 of the schedule being released and once again the media slept on the Packers. On to the playoffs again for us.

methus57 Yes i watched it. Did you watch the 16 Regular Season Games before? The Packers DEF is definetly not worse than the Chiefs for example, and they won the SB. Also the 49ers are just the worst possible matchup for the Packers because of their unique Run heavy Scheme with very few regular pass plays, so the strengths of the Packers Defense (Pass Rush) doesn’t come to play that much. The next best unit being the DBs doesn’t help much as well in such a matchup as in most other games. I think the Packers D is perfectly fine playing everybody but the Ravens and 49ers because of their scheme, and the Chiefs because no Defense will ever be ready to face the Chiefs.

Deguara showed why sometimes it's okay to take a TE/FB in the third round. Runyan had an immediate unexpected impact, Dillon had a couple nice runs and undrafted Krys Barnes has 2 TFL on a top RB and a couple other tackles as well. These are the diamonds in the rough that show maybe the front office does know what they are doing. Especially if Love can develop and MVS/Lazard can stay consistent and Ervin keeps providing an occasional gadget gain. I know it's week one but this gives a huge glimmer of optimism.
