That’s the story of the Vikings. 1998 NFC Championship with randy moss we were 15-1 but missed a field goal and that cost us the game, in the 2009 NFC Championship Brett Farve threw a last minute interception, and we would’ve won both super bowls too. Just this year Mike Zimmer decided to go for two instead of kicking an extra point in the Titans game which cost us the OT, and against the Seahawks Mike didn’t kick the field goal which would’ve won the game.
@@jdamah I don't blame Zimmer for the call on on the Seahawks game, they were destroying the Hawks 90% of the game and made the other 4th down conversions with ease. Also kick FG, only up by 8, now you deal with DangeRuss with better field position and enough time. The call to go for it was a dagger to end the game and with the way Seahawks D was playing, the majority of coaches would have done the same

Problem is that their qb sucks. Packers cant stop the run so against them you can just feed cook, but against teams with good run D kirk will have to throw more than 14 times and that's usually not a good thing for his team.

@@keitholdenkamp3747 nah our offense was actually fairly decent in this game but both teams just had really really long drives we scored touchdowns on half of our possessions which is pretty solid our DC is the reason we lost not our offense and our DC is the reason we have lost most of our games over the last two seasons

I'm not a Vikings fan but I do think Trevor would be a good fit for them. Really, it would be a good fit for both sides, the Vikings and Trevor.
The Vikings successfully beat the packers once this season and that was at Lambeau this season. It was amazing and surprising. But I do predict the Vikings and Packers split 1-1 to each other at their own home stadiums next season with Vikings beat the Packers at Minneapolis US Bank Stadium and the Packers beat the Vikings at Lambeau Field.

@@captainkirk197 Basically the defense was effective in the second half and knocked down passes at crucial times. The Packers scored late in the fourth, but it wasn't enough. Another way to look at it is that the Packers only scored half the points they did in the first meeting and the Vikings scored 6 less than the first encounter and won today.

That Vikings O-Line is not terrible. They have great chemistry with each other, especially in the run game. This O-Line struggles in Pass Pro, but other than that, they are not terrible.
Can’t win games with a defense sleeping at the wheel. Maybe it’s Mike but either way, a change needs to be made ASAP.

The vikings aren't completely dead, but if you're a fan like me, don't hold your breath. Every team knows if they stop dalvin cook, you WILL beat the vikings. The vikings need to get the next two ( home against lions and at bears) to even think about salvaging the season. After that they have three straight at home, all winnable games ( Dallas, Carolina, Jacksonville). But first beat the lions, and then the bears game actually becomes somewhat relevant again for both teams.

As Packers fans, few things are certain:
1. Mike Pettine will be gone next season
2. Packers cannot wins super bowl with their roster now, they need to trade for Will Fuller & a run stuffing d lineman or maybe sign Earl Thomas
3. We need Aaron Jones back to open the run game and play action
4. Stop only relying on your 5/6th round wr to develop, instead we should draft one with our 1st/2nd round pick.
5. The refs bet on the Vikings to win this game, otherwise how could you pick up the flag and say there was no foul on a dpi that is more obvious than that called on Packers earlier.
Last, gg vikings, but Mike Zimmer may still keep his job because of winning this game.
Non PI call was uncatchable and the contact was minimal.

(I am a Green Bay fan) This was a sloppy game by the Packers, the Defense has got to STEP UP. Rodgers and the Offense cannot do it all, and we're playing the 49'ers soon...it's time for something to change if we want to be taken seriously.
Not happening we’re mediocre at best and I love the packers just gotta accept it haha

They dont even show the pivotal defensive pi called and then inexplicably picked up to the amazement of the announcers that caused them to not convert on 4th down in the 3rd in the redzone.
This reminds me of Saints/falcons of last season week 10 an upset road win by a 1 win team over a 1 lost team

For real Aaron balled out but his defense and receivers failed him.
Packers offense is what's really terrible. Vikings were giving up 31+ ppg going into yesterday and Rodgers & Co. could only put up 22 at home.

I-line has bee trash for the Vikings all season but man they did great this game! That last cook touchdown almost each linemen had a significant block
