Hanley's move for 2'nd at the end... when you're car isnt set up the best.. but you are the best. Amazing.

I miss this track. Too bad Ron Fellows saw fit to destroy it to add an extension onto the school road track because he hates ovals, or so he has stated in past interviews.

wasn't just Ron, I think he would have liked to see it stay specially now with Sam in the Pintys Series. He doesn't hate ovals. He has raced ovals in Nascar before and he's Sam's spotter. Rumors are going around GM wants to rip up there test track and build one at Mosport. Anything is possible

I noticed MRN's Dave Moody is on this broadcast. I am genuinely curious, how many years did Dave cover this Series, and did he live in Canada for awhile, and return to the states, when he became a more regular staple with MRN?

Is this track connected to the Mosport road course?

@@AustinLaPlante part of the oval is still there it was blended into the driver devlopment track. the ovel may have been saved had the management chosen to promote it but there were some there before fellows who wanted it gone as well

@@tomingram4108 the tech guys are what basically killed it. had many conversations with people these last few years and that always comes up. Equipment that was okay Peterborough, Sunset, Flamboro ect was not allowed at Mosport so the drivers just said piss on it. I don't know people can be so damn narrow minded and stupid. where ever those tech guys are now I hope they are happy with themselves
