When I listened to Twelve Tribes Reggae it's EXCEPTIONAL and it does something to my SPIRIT, pulling me to learn more about my predecessors struggle and the role Haile Selassie played to LIBERATE MY MIND from BIBLE SCHOLARS DECEPTIONS.

TTI Function; 12 Midnight = Prime Time... nothing but Members muzik for a good 2 - 3 hours. The rest of the evening/morning was a mix of conscious Reggae & Lovers Rock until the rising of the Sun. Then Porridge, dumplings and tea for breakfast. I give thanks to Jah for sending the P. Who pick up, pick up!

....yes, when that "Orthodox " selection began in the 12 Tribe dances, it moved the dance to a new level and was the centrepiece of the night. Everything about the dances, from the choice of colour on the night, the unique invitation cards that were collectors items, the diverse and different people who would attend, made them an experience hard to equal....

Yes I Ya, I remember them times in the early 80's. I enjoyed going to The KESKIDEE CENTRE in Kings Cross London, and each month people would wear the same colour of clothing, representing the tribe for that month, plus JAH REVELATION Sound System. One tune I remembered that got played every month was ''DOWN HERE IN BABYLON'' by Brent Dowe. Good time & good days. I wish those times would come back. PEACE & LOVE WAS THE ORDER OF THE DAY!

(.... am just saying ...'cuz it had to be said to fully understand the unicity of the orthodox selection and the label. There should be 3 releases only : the one from the house of N.Y.C the one from the house of London and this 1st showcase Lp one from the 12 T head quarters in kingston Jamaica) i personally need the New York one to complete my collection ... as member ; )
