Yes! What a wonderful Album! With so much joy and happiness and sadness ' yet these were memorable times in the black community in the seventys and the early eightys' his music inspirational and a great eye-opener! Spiritually and uplifting! And yes?through controversial the Mystical Herb plant call Marijuana (Cannabis) ?!. a Healing plant 🪴 as written in the chapter of the book of Revelation 22v2 The leaves 🍃 of the trees were the healing of the Nations. So Yes 'He desi ' songs will always be in our hearts! Bless ! Glory be to jah!
Big ganja music from the man Desi Roots former Camperdown High School student . considered one the first , if not the first Ganja Anthem tune in Jamaica.
I think Peter Tosh was there before him in1977-78 with Legalize it. also try blood and fire by niney the observer, many others before too like "Oh Mr. DC" check em' out, some cool tunes there :) Weedfields came out in 79 and to this day is a classic still.
Is this the same Desi Roots who used to appear alongside Joey Jay on the legendary 'Word Sound and Power' on Kiss FM back in the 90s? Fine album this, BTW. Great voice.
