tbh i cant hate on this trailer. everything looks pretty good. wish we couldve saw more emphasis on DB's coverage.
From playing the beta, the DB coverage is significantly better, there are still a few things that could be better but for the most part it works pretty well
they did put alot in to be fair. but i think by time release day comes they should have a few more things added for dbs. or every position in general as they use the beta as feedback to tune the game.

After playing the beta I can confirm a lot of these things make the game feel MUCH better. I immediately noticed how much better the blocking was. The player movement and tackling animations felt fresh and new.

I’m not gonna lie this looks pretty good. Bodies look more realistic, and finally fumble recoveries will be more realistic

Actually really promising, my biggest problem is that NFL teams don’t play like NFL football. Hopefully this adds some depth to playing the AI

“Step in the right direction” been hearing this for 10 years straight.
The problem with this game is that there is no physics, and it doesn’t look like they added physics in the game so you will still be tackled through your offensive line or picked off through your receiver because nothing interacts with anything unless it’s in an animation.

While I agree with you, i'm at least optimistic with the fact that the game looks like it's going to play better than 23 through 18. It's not going to be perfect, but it's looking to be a major improvement

Curated to hell and back. Madden always has some good plays and some really bad plays/glitches. Also, for $70 they can go to hell.

It’s amazing how it’s been over 2 decades and they are still selling basic football elements. They want me to be happy that WRs can now catch the ball realistically. I understand improvement but that’s like telling me to be happy that a 20 year old can tie their shoes.

@@highaltitude787 EA released a trailer just like this last year. They didn't address to anything that needed fixed besided blocking, and refs on field. Same Hud and look besides scoreboard and adding more plays is terrible for the game when there are already 3 or 4 plays people run over and over that literally are impossible to stop. Its madden nothing that needs changed gets changed and thats why this game will blow again.

Exactly bro this is why they were so unsuccessful, with the same old sliding flat line ball across the field 🤦🏽♂️. With a bounce into the air we actually have a chance now, a lot of time I forget to get in onside kick formation and still have no issues recovering, I bet if u don't line up properly this year u will be hurt .
Instead of this, why don't they show us a full game? It's so easy to make the game look good when you cherrypick a bunch of clips and cinematic shots

Hopefully 1 day Madden will add classic teams like NBA 2K does. Add like the 1974 Steelers and 1985 Bears and 90's Cowboys and so on it would spice up the game for the people who can't spend thousands of dollars on packs.
This actually looks really good. I love that there's all these new features making it more realistic especially the DB one, I keep getting tired of situations when there is a DB in man to man on a receiver facing away from the ball and you throw it to a different receiver and all of a sudden the DB quickly turns his head like he has eyes behind his head and saw the ball going in a different direction and runs to the other receiver and makes a play.

0:06 seconds in and we get our first recycled animation. Come on. As long as the game relies so heavily on motion captures there’s no way the experience as a whole can truly evolve. How can they talk about calculations and physics when the whole movement sequence has been pre recorded.
Things I want you to add: Mixing of the Referees, Halftime show for superbowl, and a college mode for most of teams in the NCAA.
I’m hoping we’ll have new commentators on Madden NFL 24 with a Pre-Game, Halftime and Post-Game

Every year Madden puts out a trailer with gameplay changes. Every year people in the comments say, "I played the beta and can actually feel the improvements" or "I'm actually optimistic for this game. And every year, for the past 10 years, Madden has done this, and puts out the same, god awful, "football simulation" game that they released the year before with updated rosters. Don't let this shiny new trailer fool you, it's the same game.

I’ve got the beta, it plays very smooth. Once someone comes up with a good realistic slider set, it’s gonna be 🔥🔥 Passblocking still needs work though(on occasion )

It certainly looks _better,_ but the fact that they can't go an entire trailer without having a play that looks as broken as 4:52 with the DB getting locked into an animation and being unable to properly pursue the ball carrier shows just how cherry picked most of these plays probably are.

You know what… I’m kinda liking what I’m seeing here. I wanted to hate but I’m shocked by how the improvements are looking. Slightly more optimistic about the game now
70 bucks for a patch. They talked about running plays every year. They still haven't fixed it. Before we start praising the game, we gotta play it. Their gameplay dive are same where they lie and say we fixed this and that.

Something I'd like to see is in franchise mode when you play in the super bowl or the SB mode in exhibition, can the SB MVP award be awarded a bit more realistically like lol there's so many times when my QB throws like 380+ yards, 3 tds, 0 INT, crazy good passer rating and my RB puts in like 100+ rush yards and a rush TD but then some defensive back who had like 4-5 tackles wins the SB MVP all because he had a nice pick 6 play

This looks CLEAN. I like how they did direct comparison to last years game to show their improvements. Sapien 2.0 looks great, the player models look way more accurate. Want to see more of the defensive game play. Excited for 24

0:03 was my favorite part, this looked like a real, accurate, over the shoulder touchdown. Especially the little bump exaggerating the recievers fall after he catches it, it just looked detailed and realistic. For once I’m exited about a new madden

Yeah they should have an emotional control rating. The lower the rating the higher the chance of the player getting ejected for fighting or committing a personal foul.

Do not fall for this people. Every year they say they're changing the game completely, and improving it drastically, but it's never fixed or improved. I already see many issues with the gameplay, but they try to hide it with flashy cuts and animations. Players don't just get knocked down as often or as dramatic as the gameplay shows. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. Waste of money.
Have Madden developers ever considered matching the on-field graphics to the uniform choice? When NFL teams opt for throwback uniforms, the field logos reflect the throwback.

I usually am pretty cynical but I appreciate that they at least TRIED to make improvements l. I think they could still put more effort in the overall offline game mode experience. Like Franchise, Game modes like mini camp, even a 7 on 7 street ball mode would be cool. But I still feel like you should get more options to create a more immersive in game experience from a regular season game to a prime time game, a division rivalry game , to a playoff game to the Superbowl. I often feel like there is no difference between how a regular game feels vs a serious game or a Super Bowl. There’s no life to it and personality. So that’s one of the things I wish they took more pride in
Finally they’ve increased the fumbles for hit stick after a catch. I was getting tired of trucking a 150pound wr with a 300 pounded strong mlb and not getting a fumble

I love how every year is a 'change to the foundation'; at some point you actually have to BUILD on a foundation with depth and content, unless of course your entire engine is broken.
