Robot hs programmed to follow the black line. The robot has to follow it from a defined start position to the center end position. The line is designed with all kinds of splits that are difficult route through. Fastest time wins.

One thing they can improve is to make it stop if it consistently detects white and maybe reverse the action it made not sure if its allowed tho so she would not chase the bot.

@edgargc6366 Robots are stupid. That's basically the answer. They don't even know what they are doing, they don't even recognize that they are in a race, they are programmed to follow the black line, and this is what they are going to do, when there's no black line, they stop.
Used to do this in highschool. Really cool. Between FLL/FRC and VEX, it was a good time. Highly recommend looking into it if anyone in school is interested in stuff like this

I once had a competition like this, it was fun yet stressful why the robot kept getting out of the line 😅 The settings got me have a headaches but it was pretty easy if you understand how to settings the robot You have to grab the robot fast and place it on the checkpoint earlier to continue the race fast and did not waste anytime

I once had a competition like this, it was fun yet stressful why the robot kept getting out of the line 😅
The settings got me have a headaches but it was pretty easy if you understand how to settings the robot
You have to grab the robot fast and place it on the checkpoint earlier to continue the race fast and did not waste anytime
