"Igor. Play me that awesome Brainscan soundtrack!"
"Yes, master".
Whenever Brainscan was on TV, my friends and I called each other up, all excited, and within about 20 minutes, there were at least half a dozen of us watching!
Brainscan is one of my favorite films ❤
God i love this movie. An absolutely haunting masterpiece of cinema that transports me back to the 90s.
Dude, this is friggin' amazing to see these 2 actors from Brainscan together again... BUDDIES FOREVER!!!!!!
Hell yeah. I kinda let out this yelp of excitement seeing Kyle , like no friggin way
I watched Brainscan for the first time last week and its a great movie. There is something about 90s horror that makes this genre so appealing.
I loved his answering machine in this film. “Masta is busy….Masta is busy…”😂
He was my biggest crush back then.
Brainscan 1994 will always Rock!!!💯💯💯🤟 Thanks for the awesome childhood memories Jamie & Edward!!
Just watched for the first time today. What a great movie. So glad I found it.
Death Death Death ... part 2
Oh Lord!
I was in 3rd or 4th grade when this came out, rented it often back then, own it now had to order it years back cause it's just so nostalgic and really captured the early 90's so well. From the music to the daily rush home from school to play the newest video games or to watch and then rewatch our favorite movies, right down to the Fangoria magazine subscription to keep you up to date before the internet. Just nailed this time perfectly. So good to see both these two together again... man how time flies. But BrainScan is one of those classic 90's flicks that literally takes me back to that place every time, so endless thanks for that. Really looking forward to The Forest Hills release and see more from both Eddie and Jamie in the future!
I just randomly thought of Brainscan this morning and stumbled across this video. Awesome timing, I guess
I was 7 or 8!When T2 Came out and it was like something outta this world we were nuts about it.Me and my younger brother.
I feel bad for Furlong.a victim of Hollywood and all that bs..
He's an abusive drug addict.
Really? Not just drug addiction spurred by sudden fame?
@@_garebear No, it was much, much worse and not his fault at all. Do some research.
@@_garebear He was already using drugs at 12.
Facts Fux Hollywood they turn greats to pain
Brainscan is a classic!!
Were gonna need a Brainscan 2
I'm connected to Brainscan movie in such a crazy way, I love the film. Went to it in theaters when i was 12! Ran into my school crush and we talked and she sat next to me and would grab my arm during "Scary" scenes. Then her and her family moved like a week later!! So I've always owned a copy and great fricken memory.
Such an awesome movie, I watch it at least once a year and get so much pleasure at revisiting it everytime.👏👌
Thanks Edward & Jamie for this!
BTW I’m still hoping Igor becomes a phone manager you could download for your phone!!😅🤞
What id give for that 😂
Dude no effing wayyy i watch alot of Edward's interviews and everyone always asks him about terminator and Detroit rock city but never his other hits and the last one i watched about the movie he just did i thought someone should ask him about brainscan that movie always made me jump to the bed😂😂shit was creepy af i loved it...thank you for this interview
How no one would ask Eddie about American History fucking sucks in my opinion. A movie intended to start conversations; no one wants to have the conversation.
Just rewatched that movie. Soo creepy and fun
I worked on this American indie horror movie as the only Dutch guy and the cast and crew all knew each other so I was a bit of an outsider during the screening - was when I first met them in person. And the gaffer was playing with a basketball spinning it on his finger and not quite managing it. So I said: “maybe you oughta try that with DVDs just The Trickster in” and in harmony we all said “Brainscan”. And it broke the ice instantly. We are all horror geeks and we all love that movie.
This is badass!! I love Brainscan! Still have the soundtrack 💿
Rad! Instant sub. Fav movie of all time. Furlong forever. Best buddies forever.
Man this is so cool boys, love that movie and just re watched it on TH-cam like a week ago after many years and it still hits hard
Brainscan is an underrated movie. I love it!
They should have cast actors who were actually teenagers. Kyle, Kimberley and Stacey all looked in their 20s.
Love brainscan its a classic
Love Brainscan. Takes me back to being a 16 year old metal head/stoner and watching it with the guys
Bro, are you kidding!? It’s really good to see the dudes!
Edward looks so much better, i'm so happy for him. He deserves the best
He looks awful.
@@JamesRichards-mj9kwthat's a remarkably cruel thing to say. Wonder why celebs turn to drugs to cope, when there's assholes like you everywhere saying horrible shit.
@@longtallshorty5791 He's clearly still on drugs.
@@JamesRichards-mj9kw I don't think he is, his mind is too clear. He's just having trouble remembering making this movie. If it's something you don't spend much time thinking about you start to forget and many memories become passive, someone else needs to trigger the memory. Where as T2 and American History X, those were such a big deal that he remembers a lot about making those movies. He doesn't look like he's doing any hard drugs or anything anymore. His mind is just too clear. I'm also in my 40s and I don't do any drugs, but I just get tired sometimes, disorientated with lack of sleep. I feel like Eddie's been doing better for a while now.
@@lassesuurmunne8340 His mind is gone.
Great film, cult classic. I always loved Michael's wake up call at the end of the movie and really valued his friendship with Kyle.
I remember my aunt taking me to see it. It was a gloomy rainy day and the theater was dead. We showed up early and I remember playing MK3 in the lobby. This kid was playing when I walked up like the type of kid that would bully me so I was hesitant but he looked at me and was like "hey man you wanna take over I gotta get to my movie". I thought that was cool and I enjoyed the movie and was obsessed with that theme song from it. Good times.
Killer movie. Furlong was amazing in everything he was in back in the day.
He just looked bored in the film.
Thank you so much!!!
Oh man. My favorite movie of the 90’s
I LOVE this movie! One of the best cyber-thrillers of the 90s- A Concerned Citizen 😆🤣
Omg I loved this movie! So cool to see them reunited
Loved this movie the very first time I saw it! I was 14. Great actors, great story and very good soundtrack. I still watch today. My 3 other favorite are 'Maximum Overdrive, Trick Or Treat and Shocker. All contain a rocking soundtrack. 🙂🙂🙂
Brainscan is so underrated has great acting and the story is great keeps you on edge the whole time loved it purchased it on digital!
I saw Brainscan and Leprechaun 2 in a double feature while on a double date in 94. Quality stuff. Don't hate on Edward!
He ruined the film.
Watched Brainscan in theater. Bought the sound track tape. One of my fav movies still.
i used to read the fangoria and imagine what the movie would be like by looking at the pics. but when i got older watched it and i loved it. Brainscan and Pet Semetary 2 were two cool horror gems from the 90s
i love this movie and all brainscan actors... specially the music sondtrack
Eddie furlong has really let him self go
I love Brainscan
So glad I found this clip. Absolutely love this movie.
Kyle, Kimberly and Stacie all looked like adults in their 20s, whereas Furlong was only 15.
No i disagree Kyle looked 17 when irl his actor was 28.....Kyle real age shocked me tbh....the others did look like college aged...except for of course Edward he was a teen and looked like a teen
@@christinasavannah7992 It's strange how Furlong was the only actor who was the right age.
@@christinasavannah7992 It was probably his long hair that made him appear younger.
@@MarkHarrison733 It's called acting. He was 16, working with other actors who were young enough to play teens.
@@pdottie212fu Furlong only looked 15, but the others looked in their mid-20s.
Been one of me and my old friends favourite movies 🎬 since it came out.... I've seriously watched Brainscan over 100 times 😅😅
"Brainscan" might have been a good film if they had cast a better actor like Gabriel Damon from "Robocop 2".
Amy Hargreaves, who played Kim in Brainscan, played Clay's mom in 13 reasons why. I didn't realize that until recently.
Rest in peace Shelley Duvall. Its a damn shame that you started acting again and now you are gone.
I love this movie. Kept me on the edge of my seat. What a twist!
We watched it last night!! Cult Classic I loved it the first time I seen it..great job guys!!
Watched it twice and I'm hooked imma watch again and again and again and again
Ever saw zombie nightmare?
Brainscan 2 - Kyle finally gets to play!
Loved this movie, I was starting to day dream about working in VFX at that time, and ALL those movies were inspiring, but Brainscan had something extra, theres was a cool vibe on the whole show, and the actors all had great parts to play. Trickster was a Fantastic and Unique badguy, and Yes, that movie just gets better over time. Love it then, love it now. Thank you so much for getting this interview, super cool to see them chatting about it. Cheers
Bro I watched this movie when I was like 13 and I was traumatised but now it feels so nostalgic to watch it. One of my best friends loves it while we’re both kids born in the 2000’s
Jamie and I were buds back in the day...summer of 1989
Edward's done so many movies. This one takes you back. 😂
I fucking love brainscan true cult classic!!
Just barely saw this movie on Tubi. Lol. I knew nothing of it, and it's actually a good movie.
I'm surprised the film flopped, even though it did feel like it was made for TV.
sometimes it's just due to lack of advertising
@@BMFstudiosNYC Surely it must have been huge? Furlong's first lead role in a film.
GREAT movie
Poor Ed is so lost. He doesn't remember anything from the movie. He's been threw ALOT
First he said he was 16 then 15. Yeah, he's been there and back but hopefully he continues to stay sober and on the right path ☺️
@@charlesdavis7285 hopefully
through*
I see absolutely nothing out of the ordinary. Just two actors getting together talking about a movie. Never let that kind of judgment get in the way of a good thing. If only we could get passed ourselves and appreciate other people regardless of the trivial things. And it's not often you get to see these two guys talk together. Heck , I haven't seen Jamie Marsh in a interview or anything since the movie so I couldn't be more overjoyed at just sitting here & listen , happily.
My mom took me to see this when I was 13 I loved it
😊luv Eddie! Why say they sitting soo close! Damn!😢
omg one of my favorite movies!
Haha I love this movie as a kid it deserves better reception in the horror community!
Come on Michael play it
Awesome movie🙌.
Always hype up this movie. Even when friends had no idea about it...😬
Jamie is such a cool guy!
Omg I LOVED this movie
I am from Iraq and love edward furlong alot
Very suprised theres not a workprint somewhere. Nobody ever notices in the movie the father works for a gaming company but never is around...
OMG GREAT VIDEO 📹 👏
Yeah its so weird, I think it was great then and still great today. It was so far ahead somehow...future sci-fi. Anyway great job guys!
best buds forever
Death, Death, Death….part 2 😂 so subtle yet funny
EDWARD FURLONG ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Brainscan a good movie
Eddie is in a good place now. He survived a lot of Sh*t. Kudos Eddie.
Edward is d well doing last I read, 10/2023. He seemed happy.😊❤❤Edward
I TOTALLY LOVE THIS MOVIE FORREST HILLS❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Kyle! No I'm Axl Rose!
How the hell did I not see this!
Brainscan was wayyyyyyyy ahead of its time and Ed was born wayyyyy toooo early
dude i loved that movie as a kid lol still a classic its a nice dark comedy fun movie!!
Anyone know where in Montreal it was filmed? Looked like BC to me
Dude, ive been saying for years now that if this was remade and done well (with todays technology and future tech implications) it would be a killer movie today as well!
"A killer movie" 🤣 I agree!
I've said it a lot, but 94 and 84 are the greatest years in movies.
Hes cool and always goodlooking hair looks better longer tho ❤
Damn Edward...
I haven't got to see it yet but the trailer makes it seem equally awesome as trick or treat but gaming
Buddies Forever!!
I thought furlong was sober
He isn't.
good interview, but man they look so squished next each other where's the elbow room?
it was a tight spot and small seat... I had them sit closer together to be in frame.
@@BMFstudiosNYC That make sense, good job...new sub.
I have brqinscan on dvd very good movie
BUDDIES FOREVER ❤️
I was in highschool when this came out in my local movie theater. remember the poster(how can I forget). Didnt see it till the youtube years. Became a cult film for me. that chick was hot . heehee. dont let trixster scare u. hes just a demon. ps: wish I could go back to 94 and buy a ticket to that movie from the worker there,.. that theater has been leveled and is history.
Mon dieu, quelle épave!
Edward...my phone broke... I'm stuck. Call u soon😢
I remember hearing the director wasn't too nice to Eddie but Eddie was great in the film. T. Ryder Smith was also great as the Trickster. Sad the film flopped since a sequel showcasing the Trickster again would've been fantastic.
