Love the video❤️ I just started my print-on-demand journey and found Crafted Threads. They have a ton of designs and it saved me so much time. They have something in every niche. And lifetime updates too!!
Thanks Philip! Every day something more for me to see and learn from you! I noticed that some of the designs have a white border and I don't like it when this border has to be printed on the T-Shirt, especially when I want to sell bright T-shirt colors. Unfortunately, StickerWhiz creates almost all designs with this frame. Is there an easy way to remove this frame or perhaps leave it out when creating the designs?
You would have to do it with photopea or photoshop. I show that in one of the older background remove videos linked in the cards. Juna (Detour shirts) also has a lot of videos showing how to take stickerwhiz graphics and remove the outline. I might need to make a new one
Hello Phillip! Thank you for your interesting and very useful and needed content! Could you please create a video with a step by step guide on how to sell on Merch by amazon? It is very interesting how to start your way on this platform, especially if at the initial stage you can only post 10 designs, what they should be, where to start? I think your subscribers will be interested in such a video! There is very little relevant information on TH-cam about getting started on Merch By Amazon! Thank you in advance!
Philip, thanks for another great video. For some reason, I hadn't thought of "Pun" Gpts. Thanks for the idea and links. (How's little Otto treating Milo?)
Hey Philip! I've been enjoying creating on displate, it is my main platform but I want to step my pod game up. I've tried applying to MBA twice to no avail. I enjoy creating poster designs more than t-shirt designs and I'm wondering if you would recommend my next step be etsy? I'm interested if mydesigns has the automation and setup like in the video but for posters and if they do, would you do a tutorial like this specifically for posters?
If there is an image we like that generated from Dalle3, is there a prompt to have it reuse the same image? For example, if I had a cat graphic created that I liked and wanted a few different poses using the same art style. I am more familiar with Midjourney but trialing Dalle3 out. Thanks!
No there is no CREF or SREF in DALL-E unfortunately so it's good if you know midjourney. I'll be estatic if they add something like that to DALL-E. In an AMA on reddit the other day the OpenAI team said they were launching a big release to DALL-E soon so fingers crossed.
After following you for some time, I'm finally starting out on my own POD journey this week! Thank you so much for all the tips and information. In the video, MyDesigns seems to be US based (costs, providers) - is it useful for someone in the UK?
since the US is the biggest market, yes. You don't have to be located there. But if you are planning to sell mainly to the UK, going directly to Printful or printify might be better
This is not passive income. Unless it's digital products, anything sold on Etsy will be physical and that comes with a ton of work in dealing with customers - from faulty goods, returns for unwanted items or clothing that doesn't fit, and also general inquiries that can be extremely tedious. Digital only is the way forward.
Yes, selling any physical products is not fully passive income, especially US customers like to return things. But once it’s running, it’s much better than having 9-5 jobs.
etsy is not passive, almost passive can be amazon merch, redbubble, teepublic etc, I say almost because you may not achieve continuous sales without making news designs

Thank you Philip! Upscaled PNG files are enough for T-Shirt? I thought I had to vectorize it. Could you explain how does it work?
this video explains it th-cam.com/video/POT37vpy4WI/w-d-xo.html

@@PhilipAnders thanks! I've started with printify which is great, but doesn't seem to do all the cool AI key word bits.

Nice. thanks for sharing
You are AWESOME!!! TY
I was expecting you to do a Strawberry Jam design but you went with Narwhals instead 😂
The designs all looked the same which seemed a bit fishy to me so thought I'd use a different niche as an example😅
WOO-HOOOO... Let's flood the PODs with AI.
YAY!
You don’t have to. It’s optional.
