I have been a listener of NPR for many years. Part of the reason is because the news IS trustworthy but they often cover other stories that are informative AND entertaining. In the mornings with Morning Edition and in the afternoons with All Things Considered, it is a regular part of how I stay informed - no matter where in the country I happen to be. Helpful? Denying him a platform, absolutely. All publicity is good publicity--every time his name gets mentioned, someone will remember him but not the context of him being an idiot who tries to kill everyone around him. Fun, though? They should lock him in a chair and make him answer questions like an interrogation scene in an old detective movie.
Neither. The MAGA crowd will follow him to the depths of hell to hear what he has to say and the rest of us only listen to him to mock him, so de-platforming is useless.
