Some of the comments here are very interesting, definitely perception is "reality". This song is hard to sing because the long notes and the tempo, specially in a duet. Even without the high notes, I think they nailed it. He has a gift of a voice.
Don't forget the blend and balance. To sing The Prayer one must not overpower the other while singing powerfully individually. These two master that effortlessly.
I was diagnosed with ms at 16. I woke up one day to go to school and I couldn’t walk. I am 34 now, I went about a good 15 yrs ignoring my health and putting treatment off…now I am disabled and can’t work. I am now on Ocrevus I wish i would have started a long time ago. I love it. It took me a good 2 yrs to except my diagnosis and get through it. I am Hispanic and no family history of ms and being diagnosed as a teenager in the early 2000s and was lonely but trust you will find others just like you buy sharing it.
Katherine was one of the best ever on Idol. She could have sung this with any one of the others and taken them to a very high level. Let's not forget song choice either, Willie chose the best song of the night.
