Status on Public Domain Mouse Adventures (the dvd that contains Uncle Walt) 2 weeks ago- one of the employees of Thunder Bean confirmed that all that was left was to do a redo scan of one of the films on the dvd, then reconstruct it, and THEN one last quality check. Afterwards, it would be ready to ship within 2 weeks. That post was 2 weeks ago ☝️ So I BELIEVE the dvd containing Uncle Walt should be shipping out either this week or next week 🤞🤞🤞
So is the Quality of the Scan and Restoration good or is it bad? Edit: did some research and apparently the company is known for good quality restoration, but there audio restoration is horrible.
What the ebay listing means by reduction: This may have been said before elsewhere, but the listing says it is a 16mm film reel, that is probably a dupe or reduction. A dupe, or duplicate, means an exact copy, where the original material and the reproduction are the same format, like a 16mm film copied to 16mm. A reduction is also a form of copy, but the reproduction is made on a lesser film format. In this case, it probably means the original film was made on 35mm film, the big wide film format used in Hollywood, and this reel is the result of a reduction copy, where the original was transferred onto 16mm film, a high-end amateur grade film or low-end professional film, effectively halfing the "resolution".
@@stillbuyvhs Steve (the president of Thunder Bean) said if they had more man power and advanced hardware, then their DVD production would be more faster
So regarding my other 2 posts; If the Public Domain Mouse Adventures DVD gets shipped this week or next week, then Uncle Walt will probably be uploaded to the internet either next week or early September

speaking of lost media... i need all of your help… a lots of years ago, i think i was 7. i all ways remember this one image. it was my little pony like Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory with someone in My Little Pony characters taking roles as the other characters from movie. Pinkie Pie was Willy Wonka, rarity was violet, CMC was the Oompa Loompas, in fact I don’t even think Equestria Girls happened yet, because I remember the next one Twilight Sparkle was black. the rest of the characters was white… well apart from rarity who was a blueberry. I mean rainbow dash and Fluttershy had wings in that one with white skin kind of like the MLH animations. I means it looks colouring and pencils with only a single page with 3 parts in it. the first two parts are at the top and they were small it’s mostly included of Twilight talking to pinkie Wonka I guess didn’t understand what they were saying and the third page, rarity was a blueberry wearing violet’s suit with the 5 girls looking at her and the CMC rolling her. I guess that’s it from me really I mean I do like to recover this one day because I just really want to uncover all my childhood again. (and to see what the heck Twilight talking to pinkie Wonka was?), hope you guys can help find it? it ill be called: #findPinkieWonkaComicSript or #FPWCS spared the word.
So an old racist cartoon was found? Big whoop this is the kind of stuff that I would prefer to remain hidden from public view It just reminds me of the comment I made on a previous video about these kinds of subjects, just because many white people had no problem with these cartoons being made doesn't mean Black people were cool with them. Not everything needs to be found.
I disagree. Burying history just because it makes us uncomfortable is a dangerous notion. Sure, it’s fucked up that media like this was even seen as acceptable in our society at one point but I think it’s incredibly interesting and even important to look back on because it shows how far we’ve come since then but that’s just me 🤷🏾♂️ the world still isn’t perfect but I’m glad I don’t live in a time where shit like this is seen as okay
Sad to think about: the film collectors are dying off, & their relatives are selling their collections.
meh, Walt Dizknee was a douche.
@@StewieJustSaidThatSo a film made about him shouldn’t exist?
@@57yearoldjamesbond yeah. There are better people or greater things to think about.

Better than nothing. We should be grateful.
Thunderbean is slow, but they're supposed to do a good job. Their president runs a column on Jerry Beck's cartoon research blog.

@@stillbuyvhs but yes, their blue ray DVDs are excellent and definitely worth the wait 😎👍
Ok update;
According to a Thunder Bean employee;
They are gonna TRY to ship out the dvd (containing Uncle Walt)
By NEXT WEEK 🚚📦🤞🤞🤞
Why are we confirming uncle Walt as found when the person hasn’t dumped the film yet? We still don’t know if they were scammed.
I really hope the projection best has this print
The movie no one thought was real until now
If you want you can do the TAT logo which is the only infamous lost logo.
I hope an unedited cut of the Black Cauldron was found
Looks like the “Uncle Walt” short is not an urban legend whatsoever.
