Here is another idea.
1. Fly DJI drone over the whole street.
2. identify the dirty gutter
3. take photos and bluetooth it to phone.
4. do the sales picth real time photo
Cool but borderline illegal
Ended up getting solar and some windows up sales. The total ended up being $550 and took about an hour and a half to do. Pretty solid for less than 4 hours work!
Grateful for this video Spencer! Gave me perspective into the importance of marketing in business. It seems you've mastered the marketing aspect to land jobs for sure. Huge respect to you for doing D2D, it's no easy task! Keep hustling bro, love the videos!
Thanks man! Yeah gotta stay sharp!
“I hate business cards” wtf 😂😂😂
I like is video you should do more videos like this when your out in the field with people. Bad ass man keep it up
Thanks bro yeah tryna keep it real!
Hell yeah door knocking season here soon up in Michigan
Let’s get it 💪
Starting my own business doing this, some great info here thank you
How is it going?
confidence and cutting out "like" and "um" will give ppl the confidence in you and your service. From what I see youre a 6 figure entrepreneur on your way easily to 7 figures, let that confidence show through everything you do.
that is not true man, look up Jeremy Miner and you will find out why
💪💪 yup door to door takes practice even for me lol
Ain’t no way ma boy put a cyber truck in the thumbnail 😂 love the vids bro
We almost did his gutters! He showed us the whole car lmao
usually i just tell them that im going around cleaning windows and gutters for a really cheap price, short and simple and 50% of them say yes
How much are you charging and what’s your daily average
Bro, i love your sales voice hahah.. it is exactly how you would expect a sales person to sound.
Thanks for the upload. Would ‘free gutter inspection’ be a good door to door tactic?
"A storm coming through" a storm in California just means a little bit of rain 😂
Hi I was wondering what type of ladder and stabilizer you use?
It’s a multi-position ladder. That ones made by Gorilla. Little Giant is good too. They’re not using a stabilizer but you definitely should.
Do you think roof and gutter cleaning and window cleaning would be profitable in Norther Pennslyvania?
You won’t know until you try 😊
when you knock on doors should you knock on every single door in the whole neighborhood or just on the houses that visibility have dirty roofs/gutters? I have been only knocking on visibly dirty houses. It's pretty dry in Texas rn, out of 50 houses I'd say only 10 of them actually need cleaning. Therefore I'm not getting enough sales leads. So far I've reached 34 people but have only landed 2 jobs. Should I switch up my strategy and start knocking on every single door?
Thats solid bro 1/17... you can knock 100 a day and get 5 sales..
@@iknewiwould in total so far I’ve knocked 59 doors, 34 responded so I guess 2/59 would be the correct ratio… Mb for not clarifying
@@whymexai9555I got 2 jobs from 44 doors knocked
It's all numbers game, be sure to knock as many doors as you can. 2/3 jobs out of ever 50 doors is the average. You could offer other services like window cleaning etc. When they say no to gutters then say yeah that's no problem, I also do window cleaning and that you'd be happy to do a discount as your in the area. Get a DI vessel and a 30ft water fed pole. It will make cleaning so easy and you can use their own tap water. Get a clip board and a pen as you will come off as more professional and will begin to get more sales
I like this series! Trying to sell cleaning services by knocking doors. I am currently living in New York City, and this business caught my attention. How hard is it to get your first sale?
Depends! I landed my third door but then some days I’ll strike out just depends how bad you want it and if you keep going
The hardest thing is to keep going after many no s
Honestly it’s mostly just about getting out there and starting. My first day I did $600 in a half day. Once you get out on the doors you will start learning and getting better!
Yeah honestly you are too eager which is coming off anxious for the sale! Off-putting sadly 😅
Your companion way is the way to go just nice & chill! He must kill it at the door to door sales for his company.
Thanks man, I do!
Yo yo yo mofuka y’alls gutters is nasty as hell. Need that sh*t cleaned asap cause storm coming in. Get it.
😂 yup
If you had your I love man shorts on( maybe both you) you could have definitely charged $300 for that least deal.
Cmon back!
We ended up closing it for $550 I forgot to clarify that!
@@SpencerClaeys woohoo!! I’m going door to door tomorrow!
Should have gave them a flyer in case they changed there mind ..the trick is making the customer feel they choose you and not you choose them .
Amongus in real life, sus, sus.
lol what
When you price window cleaning jobs, is $10 for both in an out for windows or just outside? Would I charge something like 15 for both in and out? Thanks dad
I do $10 just for outside I almost never do inside
@@SpencerClaeys would that be per window or per pane. I know there are like sliding windows and such and just wanted your thoughts. I’m just getting started in this industry and you videos have been a big help man!
@@itsspookytime5586 per pane big boy
Usually when you get started you should charge per pane and do the same price no matter how big or small the window is, it’ll all even out.
Teach your kids not to open doors to strangers geeze lol
Good effort but LOL that was a horrible sales pitch. To make sales you have to show the customer value and immediate need.
Just winging it…
“Hi my name is Spencer, I’m with TH-cam Pros Gutter and Roof Cleaning Service. We’re doing some work in the neighborhood cleaning gutters and we make it a habit to offer a free gutter inspection to other homeowners in the neighborhood while we’re already here. This free inspection will identify if you have any debris blocking your gutters from draining properly. Gutters that don’t drain properly can lead to extensive water leaks and black mold inside your home, as well as very costly repairs. We recommend annual cleaning but a quick annual inspection at bare minimum to ensure your gutters aren’t blocked. We’re happy to perform this free inspection right now and show you pictures if we find debris blocking your gutters. We’re also running a new customer special offer if you decide you want your gutters cleaned out after the free inspection. Do you know when you last had your gutters inspected and cleaned, or would you like me to grab my ladder from my truck and we’ll check them real quick for you?”
Also, never approach a customer without business card, flyers, a door hanger, or your company shirt. Just having something professional for them to look at puts their mind at ease when a random stranger approaches them.
man if someone knocked on my door and opened with all that id think they were on coke 100%
