Keep Your Friends Close [LYRICS] - EPIC: The Musical | The Ocean Saga

The Ocean Saga lyric videos have arrived! Luckily it was a lot quicker of a turn-around than I expected. ADHD hyperfixation go brrr I guess
As mentioned before, I will be going backwards through each of the sagas, ending with the Troy Saga. Since I’ve now finished Thunder, Underworld, Circe, AND Ocean, that leaves Cyclops and Troy! And then the Wisdom saga! I will be on top of those Wisdom Saga lyric videos as best as I can, even though I’ve been a bit AWOL recently. I think my adrenaline and excitement will make it easier to have a quick turnaround.
I'm still planning on working on Bare: A Pop Opera, but it's on the back burner for now, as I mentioned. I also want to work on lyrics for other musicals outside of EPIC and Bare but my top priority at the moment is those two.

Typically when I release lyric videos, I am immediately notified of a copyright, and all revenue goes to the copyright holder while I get to keep my video up, but this has not happened with all my uploads for EPIC, so I'm not sure.

"Keep Your Friends Close" is the third song of the Ocean Saga, the third saga of EPIC. Odysseus is given a wind bag from the Wind God, Aeolus, who tells him to keep it closed to prevent the winds of the storm being let loose again. But doubts are growing amongst Odysseus' crew, fuelled by the tension that has been growing between him and Eurylochus since the death of Polites. When they are close to Ithaca, Odysseus eventually falls asleep, and his crew takes advantage of this moment to open the bag. The winds are set loose, blowing the fleet far off course to the rocky stronghold of Lamos: Telepylus, the city of the Laestrygonians (cannibal giants), where Poseidon awaits.
