Yes - some calm weather would be nice! Haven't found a good way of filming night sessions yet - so am avoiding those until I do! I applaud you and others who manage to do so!
Many thanks for your comments Paul - glad you found my efforts useful. Now that plaice are showing early at Seaford, the most popular marks are already becoming busy and Tidemills shouldn't be overlooked, if you want to get away from the crowds.
Here I'm using Grauvell Teknos Due 4500 rods - the spliced tip for fine work and the solid top section for bigger fish or if there is a lot of weed around. Unfortunately the company has stopped trading! The reels are Penn affinity 7000s - I normally use these with 20lb braid if conditions allow, or 30lb braid if there is a lot of weed, or I'm targeting big fish.
Hi Mick - I look at both Poole Entrance and Swanage (on My Tide Times) to roughly work out when high tide is; but that doesn't take in to account the strange double-tide, which extends the amount of time you have at high water. Perhaps there is a better source for the tide times for Studland?

@@rodsangleuk6283 tks for info me and my brother are planning a trip down on knoll beach after seeing your video of your catch of school bass and guilt head bream and the fact the double tide thinking of end of May beginning of June
Hi Dave B - that's a good question? I've caught them up to 3lb during the day slightly further west where Tidemills gives way to Newhaven East Beach. I've yet to fish here at night, so don't know its full potential. Be careful with parking here at night though - apparently cars have been broken it to.
by far the most informative videos have watched most and for a relativ novice they have been great
Many thanks for that Peter.
Nice to remember weather like that after the run of bad weather we have had. Cant wait to get down fishing and making some daytime videos.
