The sentence is very light . He is suppose to get 45 yrs because its just 15yrs by number actually he will serve five yesrs then afterthat he can be out on parole. Had he be given 45yrs he would do 15yrs then be subject to parole. Crimes against the state should be taken serious and then we wont find criminals in leadership positions.

They are always victims and they never understand the core of engineering practices. All the do, is remain in the office and rely on mens perspectives. There are two issues here,viz;
1 The Incompetence of the HR department which failed to verify his qualifications
2 The HR department's failure to check the counter-offer's validity.
The sentence I think is punishment enough to deter people from faking their qualifications but at the same time might actually be a travesty of justice because the man did not hire himself, somebody did!

I once had a Zimbabwean guy I called in to a job interview and he brought in a fake degree certificate saying he received it from "Crossroads" university in Germany. You could see it's fake. Also I knew right away that you may never have a crossroads university in Germany. Being I was curious, I looked it up online and indeed it was no where to be found.
