  • Ekurhuleni Mayor Nkosindiphile Xhakaza says the Democratic Alliance will be included in his executive in the interest of stability Xhakaza has now officially been in office for 100 days.
When he came into office, he promised to stabilize the city and to resolve service delivery challenges.
And The ANC in Tshwane has temporarily withdrawn Friday's planned motion of no-confidence against executive mayor, Cilliers Brink.
This follows an urgent application by Brink filed in the Pretoria High Court to have the motion blocked.
He argues it's unlawful and that he is entitled to sufficient time to respond to the issues raised.
DA Leader in Gauteng Solly Msimanga speaks to us.
We wrap up the show with Minister Chikunga and Gender equality advocate Onica Makwakwa to discuss if enough is being done to fight gender-based violence in the country.

Robots are not working in most places in Ekurhuleni, we have potholes in our area for 2 years and they are growing. We have electric cables that are not underground and easy targets for criminals and now Ekurhuleni says we must pay 1st R1800 for stolen cables and they can be fixed in 15 days!

Being a girl child in South Africa is a risk, chances of explanation are more than being protected by their innocence being taken from them by familiar faces and there is nothing that can be done about it.

High crimes and misdemeaners is the range of wrong, but in this case it is high crimes vs misdemeanors. Molefe went to the Inquiry to defend why he bargained for cheaper coal from Glencore and then ensured he got it from Tegeta ending loadshedding in 2017. The high crimes are addressed globally else where, but here we find every misdemeanor from pension payouts, to dinner parties with "unsavory characters." Well done to us in the pursuit of these dompas wars in the lead upto the Hunger Games☔
