If somebody is wondering why Cars keep getting quieter here is an explanation: Every few Years tightens the EU the emission regulation which forces the Car manufactures to make better particle filter between Engine and Exhaust. These enhanced particle filters are mostly thicker than less polution absorbing filters. And these thick Particle filters are also pretty good at absorbing sound which causes the quiet noises. I hope I could help someone with that
@@Berke5050 It's also the choice of the manufacturer. They tune the exhaust sound, thus can make them sound different, louder and more quiet. We've seen it in F1 f.e. where Force India tried a trumpet exhaust just to make more sound.

@Zeus A remap can do basically what you want. SA Tuning, for example, will remove both soft limiter and the top speed limiter when re-mapping VAG vehicles, plus introduce pops and bangs, it's entirely at the owners' discretion. I have a 2017 stage 2 B9 S4 tuned by the company with precisely those software alterations, this is my vehicle: th-cam.com/video/O3Q8izuKBJA/w-d-xo.html
@Zeus Take it to SA Tuning and they will remove it for you, it isn't difficult. Likewise any mapping company that develop their own software modifications. VAG (and others) only introduce these features due to an ever more nannying approach. If you do have an RS3 (and not a 1.1 Fiesta as I suspect) then it doesn't have magic software coding that cannot be modified, but unless a map is advertised as removing the limiter then it won't magically do so, the ECU needs to be told to remove it. I'm not sure you understand the basics to be honest but never mind. Cheerio.
