I love my Korg. I'm glad that you covered the potential problems with the pedal. The fact that the keyboard provides options to get around problems is excellent. I have my Korg sitting on top of my Yamaha HS4 organ. I used to have an HS8, but that failed and couldn't get parts. So I salvaged the foot pedal from that and added it to the HS4. As this has the potentiometer and the toe switches, I connected this to the Korg. It did not work right off. But going into these settings and playing around, I got that pedal to work great. Without those options, people would run into problems unless they forked out the $$$ for the "actual" Korg pedal. Good going there.
Delighted to get your opinion on this keyboard, Chris. I've had one of these for some time, alongside my Yamaha gear. Are you going to become KORG agents at ePianos ? Looking forward to seeing and hearing you play it more, and discovering the rhythms and styles. I promise you'll enjoy them !
Hi Hywel. Glad you enjoyed it. It was a fun session with the KORG PA1000 and I look forward to many more. Yes, we're KORG suppliers too. You can see the selection on our website here: www.epianos.co.uk/korg-keyboards/ - Is there anything, in particular, you'd like to see in my next PA1000 video? I'll be glad to show it off.
Love the sound want 88 keys and I heard the ph4 keyboards get mushy and eventually have issues but which korg arranger etc with 88 keys has similar sound fully weighted keys
