Let's face facts. It's not just a few bad apples, the entire barrel is rotten. That report just mentions Charring Cross but in reality it shows the standard of policing and police attitudes across the country.
The police are in dire need of a reset, with better leadership and total transparency with total accountability.

The report scratches the surface of the disgusting behaviour of so many of the police who work there display. They are out of control, out of shape, scruffy, rude, disrespectful, etc etc. Either they don't know their policies or just blatantly ignore them. Sadly the management of that place has no standards or control in place. Excellent that you highlight their behaviours. Even with Couzens and the Operation Horton Report I doubt there will be any changes.

Agreed, but as you saw the same attitudes displayed here are reflected across the whole system and by anyone who has perceived authority. Be warned local Authorities are to be given police type revenue raising powers.
Example clerk states they are too busy upstairs to advise on making or taking a complaint !
Yet, they are sooo busy? we see four unproffessional officers standing around making numerous attempts at soliciting a non existing crime under the guise of trying to assist a member of the public. The totally unnecessary intimidation tactics used which if tried without the badge and back up. The majority of those that use them would be too cowardly to do it in public
The relatvely newish one of inferring a health issue requiring medical treatment is usually made by those who have one!
As usual the MISANDRIST DICK WANNABE who thinks bulk means power slunk off inside to stir up others with (non facts?) to do what IT couldn't .
As they give let them receive until they might learn.

Back in 1968 when I applied to join my local Borough force I was told if I didn't make the grade I could always join the MET as they took anybody. I'm now a retired Merseyside sergeant and nothing has changed the MET are still scraping the bottom of a very deep barrel. As a result of the poisoned dwarf's quota hire policy there are MET officers who can barely speak English. Even though they apparently passed out from Hendon they don't even understand basic common law. The MET,s training syllabus has more modules on equality and diversity than common law.

It was good you picked up on the assertion you were behaving "aggressively" and didn't allow it to be come part of the narrative. Cops are good at framing the narrative in their favour and you've got to be on the watch for it. They tried to pull the mental health trick again, it's becoming rather common now and auditors need to be prepared. Your counter move "have you been drinking, I smell alcohol" was brilliant, well done, Yardley, you're getting to be one of the top auditors.

I like the humour of "Because I'm bad at drawing."
At 13:00, the PC didn't half go on and on and on about nothing - which you quite rightly pointed out at 16:50. As soon as he said "hostile reconnaissance" that was your cue to come out with another humourous retort, or to turn your back and refuse to listen to his nonsense.
At 27:00, that interaction was classic in how you put them in their place.
Anyone saying that bad / unprofessional / rude / ovebearing / bullying police officers are in the minority should watch this video. There wasn't a single officer that interacted with you in this video in a professsional way nor according to their Code Of Conduct.

And he talked about hostile reconnaissance after it should've been apparent to any person with more than a single brain cell that in no way was Yardley Ski doing it. It was apparent from the demand that they identify, that they follow policies properly such as inform about BWV, that he was filming in public, that he was do a lawful activity, etc. Only a stupid person would then go on about hostile recon.

Now I'm not suggesting that anyone else respond in this manner, for I know that it's not a good look, but it does sound funny at the time. And, it doesn't seem to lose any of it's entertaining power to be hugely humourous when it is read into the Court records at a later time.

Police officers of today join up under the assumption that more or less everyone that they encounter, doesn't know there rights and ergo don't care about them.
Frankly they are nearly correct in that assumption, as it's not taught in school's, collages, etc, you'd have to go to Uni and study law, to get even a basic understanding of them, that's unless you'd educated yourself about what they are, or your a … police officer. You'd probably hear most scraps of information, from some other poor unfortunate that had a run-in with the police, and got burned, (or not, if they'd got a good solicitor) than any other way.
People only want to know there rights, when sitting in an interview room when they badly need to know what they are.
In general, people assume that an officer knows best when interacting with one before that point and officers will take full advantage of trampling all over your rights, given half a chance before that. It's not helped by more experienced officers and there superiors either, as they've been trampling over rights for years and know the pubic can't be arsed to do much about that fact.
Newbie officers simply follow suit, all of them knowing, that the IOPC is a very funny joke to them.
Furthermore, a great many law makers, MP's, don't exactly aid that situation, as lately, they're actively trying to rid the public of many rights they aren't aware of anyway and no MP wants a well informed public, looking into what rights they may be about to lose.
Under that premise, officers will abuse those that aren't aware of there rights and are more or less expected too. Policing culture in the UK relies on it, till all the above change's, nothing much will change.

4:45 If anything was suspicious it was the unidentified man who seemed to be continuing to walk on down the pavement until he noticed the secure door was open and then proceeded to walk past the other officers who didn't make any indication that they recognised him (and that's always the excuse the use when asked about someone else in the station and with so many working there, it would be exceptional for them to recognise the man) and they allowed him to enter without using a pass. Not very secure at all.

Love it. NB Hilariously childish that they use irrelevant but emotive language ie “you’re filming the BACK of a police station”… !! If you were at the front would it be …”you’re filming the FRONT of a police station”…? Nah. Idiots.
Remember - body worn video verbal advice is not just policy, it’s DPA & GDPR Law.
    Try:
“are you aware the Metropolitan Police are governed by GDPR Legislation”? (They’ll surely say yes)
“are you currently capturing imagery and sound in any recording device on your person ” (They’ll say yes)
“do you work for the Met”? (They’ll say yes)
    Then say ….
So, this data capture is governed by GDPR Law, and:
    1) You didn’t advise me, so you have just broken the Law whilst on duty. Not a good career move.
So… I’d like to take this illegality further. Who’s your Data Controller? (They won’t know) who’s your Superintendent?
    2) You should know the name of your controller. Looks like you were asleep in class. All imagery is inadmissible as evidence.
    Plus another legal technique:
If they don’t warn you don’t mention it. Then later …ask them why they’re filming. They’ll probably say as here… “to gather evidence”. You may need to prompt them …”are you recording me for EVIDENCE”? (Evidence is a powerful word in the wacky world of the Police).
    They’ll say yes.
Then say “well you were asleep in class, and you may as well turn it off. As you didn’t warn me when you had a clear opportunity, you’ve broken GDPR law: all data obtained is now done so “without prejudice” (to civil proceedings or criminal prosecution). It is inadmissible in court, and cannot be the basis of any cause of Police action such as a search, detainment or arrest.
Plus the catch all if you get the above right:
I’m just a member of the public , how come I know your job better than you”?
    Good luck. Happy hunting.
