    Hey there,
As I already said multiple times, I really wanted to upload something different this month but I just couldn't finish it in time. At this point I am 80% sure it won't be done next month either so I will most likely make another "shorter" video in July. Once you see the one I am working on you will understand why it takes so long ;)
Anyway I want to add something to the Music Rant. Last night I read this: kotaku.com/nintendo-metroid-prime-youtube-music-takedown-synamax-c-1849067850 which pretty much just adds to my complaints about Nintendo. I do understand that they are 100% in the right here BUT it feels unnecessary. There is already enough content about this problem out there so I do not need to add to that...mostly since I want to keep my videos related to F-Zero. IF any of the creators whose music I use gets hit by something like this I will have to resort to not use Nintendo related music anymore which is a shame but that is just how it is.
Enough negativity now, hope you enjoy this video and I hope to see you all next month. Have a good one! o/

7 month later, I finally found your review! Thanks for reviewing the game, it's great to hear you enjoyed your time playing it.
I had a lot of fun making it, and you make valid points: the mines are too brutal, especially for weaker vehicles (I guess I was too used to their locations when I was testing the game as it only occured to me once I replayed the game months after its release :p), the Pass option is ill-placed (once again, dev bias from my part) and Sudden Death is... Deadly! :D
To be honest, only the first two cups were initially planned. I managed to add the 10 other tracks quite quickly near the game completion (in a dozen of days), which kinda explains why the difficulty curve is a bit over the place and why the 10th track is the hardest of them all. By the way, the difficulty settings makes the AI litteraly faster and removes a couple of spare machines.
Thanks for the video, and I gotta say... A huge thanks for saying the game truly feels like an F-Zero game: mission accomplished then!

The only other thing i don't like but i understand why, is that Illusion itself HAS guide beams at the edges unlike the GBA games, sure it would be near impossible to complete it but IMO i like the better challenge of going through the black edges and falling off the track.

If I recall correctly, I tried to remove the edges, but it had the main issue of killing every AI very quickly if falling off the track was deadly. In order not to lose too much time for what should have been a single track, I left the barrier... and removed the pits to create something a little akin to the traditionnal Illusion gimmick ^^

@@LinkyHYC Just what I've thought in my statement from yesteryear.
