The Vision Jet is truly the future of GA,. The present pilot/operator is the geekbird , which for now must act as an interface to apply the necessary downward pressure with its digits to operate the buttons of the craft. However, the geekbird should be considered a transitional hybrid as we approach the coming of the pure drone. We'll love them! Great video, Max, and seriously, many kudos to Cirrus for sticking with this wonderful airplane over the years, when it would have been so easy to quit like Piper did. Thanks for taking us along on a beautiful and thrilling flight!

Beautiful scenery. Brought back memories from way, way back in the fall of 1971 when I went on mountain checkout out of Colorado Springs landing and departing Aspen in a Cessna 182 while I was based at Fort Carson in the Army. Climb performance of the non turbo 182 much different than the Cirrus. Thanks for posting and bringing back those old memories.

21:24 "How tall is that peak?" The mountain at 10 o-clock is Mount Sopris. Although it reigns as a grand monolith over the valley below, this mountain is not one of Colorado's 14er's. It is only 12,966′.
Stunning scenery, a bit different to the flat land, red dirt and no rain where i live. Love the "Vision".

Colorado is an Amazing place to fly, especially around the Rockies. Just Beautiful. Many ports, usually good Weather year round & some really unbelievable scenery.!

I was in Beaver Creek last week (12/15 - 12/19) and it was -3 and beautiful... lacking snow except for a bit of rime-ice on one flight... Looks like it’s super cold (still) because it’s clear. Sitting in the hot tub was interesting because everyone’s hair was frozen solid. No snow for the end of December.

The airplane you were trying to Identify is a gulfstream g-150. Modeled after the Israeli Aircraft Industries Astra Jet. You own my favorite airplane! :)

Holy Crap!! 80% thrust!! man very good engine performance... then you slowed down to 74% thrust... this is good, especially when taking off 7700 feet ASL

I have really enjoyed your videos of the cirrus jet, very interesting aircraft. As a person who can only dream to have a pilot's license, let alone an aircraft, I enjoy every aspect to flying. That being said I would really love it, I'm sure many others also, if you could show the entire startup, take-off and approach plus the landing. Musical transitions are great, but man do i love to hear the sound of flight, mainly the departure and arrival. I know editing is time consuming, but seeing the entire begining timelapsed just killed me.

One small correction, Mikoriad: After successful written and flight exams, pilots are issued a "Certificate", not a license.

It nice, now you just have to fly the SF50 out of Eagle, Steamboat, Leadville, and Durango, and you'll have some of the best high altitude airports and skiing to boot, and yes, I'm from Colorado, so I love my home state for both...
