Red Dirt Soulman Stoney LaRue collaborated with legendary songwriting extraordinaire, and all around good guy, Gary Nicholson to make his 2019 album that he titled ‘Onward.’ One of the first tastes of what this tandem what capable of with the release of the single “Hill Country Boogaloo.” Here’s Stoney’s take on the tune.

Love it! Live in Atlanta & had a trip planned to hear Texas / Red Dirt music & visit some famous Honky Tonks. Were starting in Austin and concluding in New Braunfels to see Jason Boland at Greune Hall. Got Covid & had to cancel. Sure hope we can make it as you just can't find this type music in or around Atlanta.
